#SIGN054 - Blue-Tip Cigar Fan Hanger Sign Vintage 6 1/4" wide cardboard sign advertising Blue-Tip Cigars. This was a fan hanger sign. Fan Hangers were tied to the string of store ceiling fans (before air conditioning) and slowly turned from the breeze of the fan, and so fan hanger signs are always two sided. The signs are identical on both sides. They were just found recently in the old factory and are the only examples I know of. All have some small typical paint flaking as you can see in the picture if you look close, but you won't find any better anywhere. Circa 1930s. $1.50
