#ZLB008 - Bluebird Broom Label
6" tall vintage unused stock broom label picturing a bluebird on a branch. Circa 1930s. Found in a defunct broom factory warehouse in Illinois. These were labels that were actually used on broom handles. A lot of broom companies went out of business in the 1940s and 1950s when vacuum cleaners took their place in the American household.

#ZZMS051 - Universal Blade Service Letterhead
Vintage unused letterhead from the Universal Blade Service in Fond du Lac, WI. They sold and repaired bread machine blades. During the 1920s, aluminum was really a big deal and so I guess they were getting in on that act too as it also says they were the "Home of the all aluminum revolving cake decorating stand"! 4 digit phone number. Unused condition. 11" tall.

You get 2 for $1 (that's 50¢ each). 3 1/2" wide labels say Elkay Mayonnaise Salad Dressing the Mark of High Quality. They were found many years ago in the L. Klein building in Chicago and are embossed and gilded. These are great for displaying on old jars you have laying around. Circa 1930s.

#ZLC019 - Sunkist Alaska Exposition Lemon Crate Label
12 1/2" wide crate label pictures a diploma won by Johnston Fruit Company of Santa Barbara, California for their lemon entry into the 1909 Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition. Says Seattle 1909 on it. Vintage unused stock found at the Johnston Fruit Co. warehouse in Santa Barbara, California. Johnston Fruit Company was a distributor of Sunkist lemons. The Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition was a world's fair held in Seattle in 1909, publicizing the development of the Pacific Northwest. This label is a later version that they probably used into the 1930s or 40s.
