#BHSports032 - Scarce Charity Football Poster/Cinderella Stamp Picturing Cheerleader
Vintage 1 7/8" tall poster stamp. These are circa 1940 and say "10th Charity Football Stadium Nov. 23". These advertised charity football games that were in Cleveland, Ohio and are ungummed (none in the series were gummed).  Poster (also called Cinderella) stamps were issued as advertising, but not for postal purposes. Most of them, like these, are larger than regular stamps. They are widely collected. These are in excellent unused condition and are uncommon. They were found at the estate of a Cleveland stamp dealer.

#CC282 - Coca Cola Dry Server with Coca-Cola Button Logo
Vintage 6 3/4" tall Coca Cola Dry Server with a picture of a red circle that says "Every Bottle Refreshes" "Drink Coca Cola" "Dri-Hand Bottle Protector" "Mundelein, Illinois. This is also called the Coca Cola Button Logo. These are paper sleeves that were dispensed from old Coke machines. The refrigeration in the old machines made the bottles sweat, so you put the bottle in one of these sleeves to keep them dry. Some people call them bottle bags, but the are really sleeves. This is the very last type of sleeve that Coca Cola made and are not real common. They were made in the 1940s.  By the 40s, the machines were updated so that the bottles didn't get wet when the weather was hot anymore.  These are in exceptional condition. These are from a huge collection of Coke items a friend had who searched old bottling plants and hauled this stuff out many years ago.

#CH326-18 - Gene Autry Rim of the Canyon Poster/Broadside
Vintage 13" tall paper movie poster/broadside from the 1949 movie "Rim of the Canyon" starring Gene Autry and his horse Champion. Says "Outlaws steal Champion... and a roaring range war is started!!". Please click the picture to see a more detailed image. Back in the day, when a new movie was going to play at the local theatre, there would be a guy who would run around town tacking these things on bulletin boards, telephone poles, fence posts, or anyplace else where they might be seen. Because most were outdoors, few have survived. Some will have small edge tears or roughness, but this is true of all paper movie broadsides, and they can easily be trimmed for framing. Although, a few small imperfections kind of adds to the look with these. Colors vary. We got them from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist. He found them in the storage area of an old theatre up in Northeast Ohio.
