#TY043 - Tin Toy Panda Yo Yo Vintage 1 1/4" diameter tin toy yo-yo with a Panda pictured. They are commemorative type toys that were sold all over the country when president Richard Nixon returned from China in 1972 with the Pandas he received as gifts. They would have been made in 1972 or 1973. Found a batch of unsold ones still hanging out in an old distributorship. They are tin and are marked Hong Kong. About half are red and the other half are blue. If you order more than one, you will get both colors. Nice condition. $0.50
