#SP039 - Schlitz Menu Sheet with Phil Lyford Artwork
Vintage 10" tall unused paper menu sheet with a large colorful picture of a sophisticated couple dining and drinking Schlitz beer. It has the slogan "It's smart to drink Schlitz" and "The beer that made Milwaukee famous". Also says "In brown bottles". These are easy to date as those logos were only used in combination for a couple of years around 1934. They have a Phil Lyford signature. Phil Lyford was a very famous artist who did many paintings and illustrations for the Saturday Evening Post and Country Gentleman. He passed away around 1950. His paintings go for around 2 grand. These are quite a find.

The "Because we're all in this together" logo is regarded as the last marketing gasp of the mighty Falstaff Brewing empire and featured TV ads with the bumbling cowboys Gabe & Walker. These are in really nice shape. They are cloth. You peel of the paper on the back of them and they will still stick to just about anything.
#SP043 - Large Very Rare Old Crown Ale Display
Vintage 16" tall heavy cardboard Old Crown Ale Display. The pictured one is folded together. They are self standing and three dimensional. A bottle of Old Crown Ale went in the center of the display. This is a rare item and a great looking piece if you've got one of the bottles. Just have a few that were old stock that was rescued from the brewery when it went out of business in 1973. These are circa 1950 and in near mint condition. You rare see this kind of stuff anymore. The brewery was located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The center aluminum looking part you see in the center is like a cave recessed in the display. The bottle was placed there.

Louter Kabouter has been making alcoholic beverages in Holland since 1777 and is an internationally know company. The logo and picture on the coasters dates these to around the 1960s. Good shape except some slight rippling of the napkin like paper. Neat gnome collectible.

You get 10 for $1.00 (that's 10¢ each). Vintage 4 1/2" diagonal Coors paper beer coasters. Marked Adolph Coors Company Golden, Colorado. They have no zip code, but are probably from the 1960s as that was the main period when the lion logo was used.
#SP014 - 4 Sheets with 20 Engels and Krudwig Wine Decals
Vintage 2 1/2" water decals. You get 4 sheets (with 5 decals on each) for a total of 20 decals (that's only 10¢ each). You'll get 5 Ohio Port wine, 5 American Muscatel wine, 5 Ohio Blackberry wine, and 5 Ohio Sherry wine. All are marked The Engels and Krudwig Wine Co. Sandusky, Ohio. The boxes had a printers mark that suggests they were made in 1933 which was the year prohibition ended, but they look older. They still work and have directions on the back for how to apply them. They would look great on an old cork top wine bottle. Some friends of mine found these at the winery a few months back.
