#ZBOT093 - Sweet Georgia Brown Liquid Face Powder Black Product Bottle Label
Vintage 3 3/4" tall Sweet Georgia Brown Liquid Face Powder label. Some gilding. Marked "copyright 1934 Valmor Products Co. Chicago, IL and probably from around that time period. This was a line of products that was made to give "black" people a "white" look. There was a short time in the 1930s when "crossing over" was popular and the Valmor line of products catered to that. That's why it pictures a light skinned black lady and says "liquid beauty pink". These came from the remains of the closed building many years ago and have become scarce.
