#ZBOT049 - Brown Mixture Opium Label
2 1/2" wide vintage Brown Mixture label. Says "Each fluid ounce contains .219 grains Opium". It also says it contained 10% alcohol. Says it was for coughs. My guess is that after you took it you didn't care whether you were sick anymore. Unused old stock found at the Baltzly Co. which was a drugstore in Massillon, Ohio. Excellent condition. Great pharmacy bottle label. Circa 1910s.
$1.00
#ZBOT075- Pioneer Extract of Peppermint Bottle Label
Vintage 2 1/2" tall Pioneer Brand Extract of Peppermint bottle label. Nice picture of a pioneer wagon and oxen. Unused stock from the Morris Drug Co. in York, PA. Great condition.
$0.25
#ZBOT103 - Universal Special Cream Label that went on a Milk Glass Jar
Vintage 4 7/8" wide label. Great image of a period lady with scrolling. These are fantastic. They came from the remains of the Universal Medicine Company many years ago and I had a full display of the jars with the labels on them. They go on a milk glass jar. These were a little curled and so I put them under some book to straighten them out many years ago and just refound them. They still have a slight curl, but will glue on a round milk glass jar just fine. Says "Universal Vanishing Cream is an excellent preparation fror Daily Use" etc. "Universal Laboratories Chicago". They are likely right around 1900.
$0.75
#ZBOT066- Pair of Early Ketchup Bottle Labels
(you get the pair for 50¢ - that's only a quarter each). Wider one is 3 1/2" across. These are circa 1910 ketchup bottle labels. You can pick up old ketchup bottles at bottle shows and antique malls very cheap. Put one of these labels on them and then you will have a great item. They are fantastic stone litho images. Unused old factory stock in great condition.

They look great on an old bottle.

#ZBOT080- Twentieth Century Medical Discovery Bottle Label
Vintage 5" wide bottle label. Says "Twentieth Century Medical Discovery". Very unusual because it is dated 1939 (long after the pure food and drug act), but sounds like something much older. Say it was for Biliousness, Heartburn, and Flatulence and contained "Oleum Methae, Oleum Eucalyti, Olive Oil", etc. Even says "Beware of Imitations". Unused old stock from the Joseph Muller Manufacturer in New Orleans, LA.

#ZBOT076- Virgin Olive Oil Medicine Bottle Label
Vintage 2 3/4" tall Virgin Olive Oil bottle label. Says it was particularly valuable for food or medicine and talks about purity which would date it to around 1910. Purity was the catchword of the day in the 1910s after the passing of the Pure Food and Drug Act in 1906. Unused stock from the Philip Miller Drugstore in Chicago, IL. Great condition. There are lots of old olive oil bottles floating around but you rarely see the labels.

#ZBOT083- Chandler Fly and Bed Bug Spray Label
Vintage 4 1/2" wide 1910’s fly and bed bug spray label. I don’t know why people collect this kind of stuff. Maybe they think it’s funny or something, but a lot of people collect bug related items. Unused old stock from the Chandler Co. in St. Louis, MO.
$0.50
#ZBOT098 - Dr Lynas Compound Celery Bottle Label
Vintage 3 1/2" tall gilded Dr. Lynas Compound Celery Flavor label. These have beautiful stone litho details with roses along the side and fance scrolling. They say "For Ice Cream, Jellies, Pastry, Custard, Candies, etc." "Use Sparingly Till Flavored to Taste". Unused old stock from the the Lynas warehouse in Logansport, IN. These are very old. I'd say 1910s or earlier.
$0.35
#ZBOT044 - Early Cinderella Face Beautifier Label
4 1/2" wide vintage early 1900's Cinderella Face Beautifier label. Unused old factory stock from the Dr. Blumer's plant in Chicago. Excellent condition. Two things of note. These labels do not have a size or weight listed which was required by law after around 1910, meaning they were made before that time. Also, the Cinderella story has a really interesting history. It dates all the way back to China in the 9th century. It became popular all over the world in the late 1850s when it was retold by the Grimm brothers. It made another comeback on stage in the late 1800s and was repopularized again by Disney around 1950.
$0.50
#ZBOT077- Chipico Pickle Jar Label
Vintage 4" wide Chipico Pickle jar label. Neat Chipico Indian logo. I traveled up north to get these many years ago and got them all (there were many varieties). The rest went to the dump. Unfortunately, most burned up in our warehouse fire, but I was able to trade around and get a few back for you. They are from around 1950 and look great on an old pickle jar. They are all pickle labels but some wills say dills or sweet pickles or some other variation. They are marked Chicago Pickle Co., Chicago, IL.
