Nice unused condition.

#ZBOT062- Rare Beaumont French Injection Morphine Gonorrhea Remedy Label
3" tall turn of the century label from the Thomas Drug Co. in Sacramento, CA. These are slightly rippled, but it won't hurt them at all if you put them on a bottle. Says it contained Alcohol and Opium and was a "Well known remedy for Gonorrhea, Gleet, Mucous Discharges" etc. These appeal to collectors of venereal disease remedies and opium. Bottles with this label go for pretty good money.

#ZBOT001 - Group of 3 Liquid Bluing Labels Picturing Mammy
You get 3 for $4.50 (that's $1.50 each). Vintage circa 1910s liquid bluing labels picturing a black mammy doing the wash. These are the old varnished type labels (the varnished style label was used in the early part of this century). They are 3 1/2" tall and went on a 2 oz. concentrate bottle. These are unused old stock that were found at the Central Drug & Specialty Co. warehouse in Cottonport, LA. They would look fantastic on an old bottle.

#ZBOT058 - Fancy McCarthy's Cough Mixture Bottle Label
Vintage 3 1/4" tall McCarthy's Cough Mixture bottle label. Says that it contained Alcohol (of course), Menthol, Ammonium Chloride, and Wild Cherry Syrup. This is a fancy old one from a pharmacy in the Lexington, KY area. Very nice shape. These would look very nice on an old cork top bottle. Curca 1900.

#ZBOT054 - Mutton Tallow Jar Label
Vintage 2 1/2" wide label picturing a sheep. Says Roosa and Ratliff Chemical Co. "Contains mutton tallow, petrolatum, carbolic acid, camphor" "25ยข". I found these about 10 years ago when they were closing the Roosa and Ratliff Company here in the Cincinnati area. At the time, I found some of the tins which were beautiful, but they are long gone. These labels went on small milk glass jars and look great on one if you have one sitting around. They are very uncommon as that batch was the only ones ever found.
$0.50
#ZBOT055 - Set of 4 Very Fancy Diamond Red Ink Labels
Four vintage diamond red ink labels up to 4" tall. These are great labels. The two red fountain pen labels have a vintage fountain pen pictured with gilded details. The larger one went on a big master ink bottle. If you have one without a label this will make it look phenomenal. One of them says "College Red Ink" and has a small illustration of a pen with a college pennant attached to it that says "Inks". Circa 1910. Unused stock from the Diamond Ink Co. in Milwaukee, WI.
$3.50

They are all wonderful labels to put on old bottles. Nice unused condition.

#ZBOT049 - Brown Mixture Opium Label
2 1/2" wide vintage Brown Mixture label. Says "Each fluid ounce contains .219 grains Opium". It also says it contained 10% alcohol. Says it was for coughs. Great pharmacy bottle label. Circa 1910s.

#ZBOT050 - Universal Bitter Wine Label
Vintage 5 1/2" tall Bitter Wine label. It says that "Universal Bitter Wine is a laxative tonic". These were found a number of years ago at the now demolished site of the Universal Chemical Company in Chicago, Illinois. Dated 1920. Universal was a late maker of bitters. Bitters and Bitter Wine were popular around the turn of the century because it was basically alcohol that could not be taxed because they called it a medicine. They pure food and drug act of 1906 put an end to all of that, but a few manufacturers continued making the product for various medical purposes. These are beautiful large labels in excellent condition. They have a little curl, but will straighten right out if framed or put on a bottle. The stickum is still good on the back. Very scarce label.

Says "Dip the wand into the dancing bubble solution and drag Wave Wand through the air or blow gently to produce a stream of fascinating dancing bubbles".
