#ZLB007 - Group of 4 Risque Lady Broom Labels
You get 4 for $2 (that's 50¢ each). 6" tall vintage unused stock broom label picturing a lady in a low cut dress, short skirt and apron. Very unusual for the time period. These must have been considered downright scandalous when they were used on broom handles in the 1940s. Found in a defunct broom factory warehouse in Illinois. A lot of broom companies went out of business in the 1940s and 1950s when vacuum cleaners took their place in the American household.
