They are government issue from the WWII period and say "These matches made expressly for the United States Navy" on the top. A lot of folks collect wartime match packs and this is the best I've ever seen. They are uncommon and in pretty much perfect condition. Really nice Navy logo on the back. They should go for $6 a pack or more on Ebay and be good sellers. $2.00 #TO017 - Group of 3 Sun-Ray Cigar Posters You get 3 for $6 (that's $2 each). Large vintage 17" wide paper poster for Sun-Ray Cigars. Fancy name on sunburst background. Unused stock found in the warehouse. Circa 1930s. Nice condition. $6.00 #SIGN033 - Joe Michl's Fifty Little Orphans Cigar Sign Vintage 7 1/4" wide cardboard sign advertising Fifty Little Orphans Cigars. This was a fan hanger sign. Fan Hangers were tied to the string of store ceiling fans (before air conditioning) and slowly turned from the breeze of the fan, and so fan hanger signs are always two sided. The reverse says "Smoke the Little Orphan Cigar Best on Earth for 5¢" etc. These were found in an old cigar factory many years ago and are a nice early advertising cigar sign. Circa 1890. All that were ever found have what looks like light scuffs on the reverse (it is actually light ink bleed through from the front). These are something else. They have an orphan in the front holding up a cigar. These days if they produced advertising with a bunch of orphans selling cigars there would be a public outcry. $8.00 #TM038 - Group of 2 Viceroy Cigarettes Front Cover Striker Match Packs You get 2 for $1 (that's 50¢ each). Vintage full packs of front cover striker Viceroy Cigarette matches. The inside says "Viceroy the taste that's right! Not too strong! Not too light!". Excellent unused condition. This is a great price on these. $1.00 #NE020 - Tobacco Cone Picturing Black Native Vintage 12" tall folded flat cones that were used to scoop tobacco. These are old unused stock that were found in Amsterdam, Holland. Circa 1940s. Pictures smoking black native. $1.50 #SIGN034 - Lew Morris 5 Cent Cigar Sign Vintage large 18 1/2" wide paper sign advertising Lew Morris 5¢ cigars. They say "For Smokers Who Demand Quality". These are unused stock that was found in the factory. They are circa 1930s and are in excellent condition. Not very common. $3.50 #SIGN013 - Canadian Club 5 Cent Cigar Sign Vintage 7" diameter heavy cardboard two-sided sign. Old stone litho. Circa 1930s. Still have their hanging string. They were advertising fan hangers. Very colorful. Same on both sides. $5.00 #TOP013 - Group of 3 Very Old Acme Cubana Cigar Bags You get 3 for $1.00 (that's roughly 33¢ each). Vintage 5" tall bags that have compartments to hold two cigars. They are marked Acme Cubana Registered by D. S. Erb & Co. on the front and have a patent date of February 1898 on the reverse. These are very old unused factory stock from around 1900 and are in good condition. They say "July 29th, 1981" "Marriage of The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer". Nice picture of Lady Diana and Prince Charles. These are a peel and stick advertising decals that were made to go on a window or door of a country store. Nice shape. Unused old factory stock. Circa 1930s. $2.00 #TM060 - LBJ for the USA Matches Picturing LBJ and HHH Vintage unused full pack of front cover stiker matches picturing LBJ and HHH. Has the famous slogan "LBJ for the USA" on the reverse. Leftovers from the 1964 election. Excellent condition. $1.50 #ZZTO026 - 1922 G.H.P. El Producto Cigar Co. Letterhead Vintage 11" tall G.H.P. Cigar Co Inc letterhead. Has the famous El Producto brand mark on it. These were found in storage at the Brockmeyer Cigar Company in St. Louis, MO. They are letters that were written by Lorillard to Brockmeyer. All are dated 1922, and two are alike. Condition is pretty good on these, but they will have typical aging, folds, edge tears, etc. $1.00 #TM064 - Golden Guernsey Front Cover Striker Match Pack Vintage unused full pack of front cover stiker matches that say "Compliments Michigan Guernsey Breeders Assn Ed Wright Representative" on the cover and have a super colorful Golden Guernsey symbol on the back. These are in great condition and are from around the 1950s. Golden Guernsey is very popular with the dairy collectors. $1.00 #NE007 - Black Maria Tobacco Tag 1" tall vintage Black Maria tobacco tag. Turned up in an old tobacco warehouse. They're pretty old. Likely from around the 1920s. Very nice condition. $0.80 #ZLSC045 - Group of 6 Rudolph Valentino Cigar Bands You get 6 for $3 (that's 50¢ each). Embossed and gilded cigar band labels say “Rudolph Valentino Quality Cigar”. From the mid 1920’s when Rudolph Valentino was considered the ultimate screen lover. He was idolized by the female fans of the 1920's like Elvis was in the 1950’s. He died an untimely death in 1926 at only 31 years of age (from a perforated ulcer), which probably explains why these cigar band labels were never used. These have become very difficult to find. $3.00 #TO031 - Taylor Bros. 48 Tobacco Tag Vintage 3/4" diameter tin tobacco tag marked Taylor Bros. 48 Winston-Salem N.C. Circa 1920s.
