You Can Help with as little as $1
I (Don) have spent over 20 years roaming around digging out inventory for you guys. I work for you, and love doing it! Now, I need some help. My singer (Lola) and I are trying to complete a studio quality CD, but it is outrageously expensive. So, I got to thinking. If I could get some of you to donate a small amount (even $1), maybe we could gather the money to complete the CD. It is my dream. I appreciate you reading this. Shipping costs are not incurred on this item.

#CH079 - Ken Maynard Trick Rope in Original Cellophane Package
#CH079 - Ken Maynard Trick Rope in Original Cellophane Package
Vintage 1940's Ken Maynard toy TRICK ROPE in original package. 11" wide package says "toy trick rope - with the patented embedded swivel". These are in their original cellophane packaging (which is quite brittle and has tears), but the card and rope are in perfect condition. Even has a fake autograph on it. The patent number on the card is from the mid 1930s, however, guaging by how old he looks in the picture, I'd guess they are from around 1940. With his white cowboy hat, fancy shirt, and pair of six-shooters, Maynard appeared in more than 90 films from the 1920s to the mid-1940s before his career was ended by alcoholism. This was a warehouse find, but it wasn't huge and these won't be around forever. Trick ropes were sold by a lot of cowboy movie stars during this time period and usually go for $100 or more. This is a great item.

#CH106 - Set of Hard Plastic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Figures
#CH106 - Set of Hard Plastic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Figures
These are in perfect condition. Circa 1960 hand painted Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs figures. For perspective, the Snow White figure is about 3" tall. These Snow White sets still in the original packages are very scarce. They broke easily because of the brittle hard plastic, but these are mint. Very detailed. Many are carrying moveable objects like lanterns and shovels. These came from a really nice large find at Keystone Novelty in Pennsylvania. It was very exciting. Just found it very recently. A lot of items we've never seen anywhere before.

#PL100 - JFK Coin
Vintage 1 1/8" diameter aluminum Kennedy coin. The scan doesn't it justice because of the glare but they are good quality. The front says John Fitzgerald Kennedy, 35th president, 1917-1963. Vintage 20" wide Dr. Pepper Book Cover. You will see these on Ebay occasionally but look at the pictures closely. They are almost always wrinkled or damaged. Not these! These are near perfect. They are marked "The Colad Company Inc. Buffalo, NY. Copyright since 1934". The logo and bottle pictured are from the 1950s and so they are from that time period in spite of the copyright date. They are quite large and would be wonderful framed. Stock from an old bottling plant.

#CH160 - Monster Head Charm Display Picturing Frankenstein
#CH160 - Monster Head Charm Display Picturing Frankenstein
Vintage 7" tall cardboard vending display card picturing Frankenstein and another ghoul. The cards are marked Mike Turner (not the famous comic book artist). My now grown son and I found these when he was a little boy and we went to the auction of the AAA vending company in downtown Cincinnati. They are from the 1960s are very neat looking. There were 100s of them, but this is the last pile. They have two plastic heads glued on them and they went in the front of a vending machine where they were vended on mini keychains. It says "Hey Kids" "They Stick on your Head". AAA was the manufacturer and distributor of the charms and they would push them around Halloween around the mid 1960s. We used to have the literature showing how much they cost with dates and things, but it is long gone. If I remember correctly, they were $10/1,000.

#TY256 - Pair of 1960s Shoes for Barbie
#TY256 - Pair of 1960s Shoes for Barbie
You get the pair for $1. These are roughly 3/4" from front to back. They are soft plastic shoes that were made for early Barbies. I found these many years ago at the now defunct Acme Specialty Co. in Massillon, Ohio where they sold them as Barbie shoes. My understanding is that they fit the standard Barbie dolls of the day. They are from the 1960s and are in unused condition. They are soft plastic and most are pink, yellow, blue, and green. The more you order, the more different colors you will get.

Vintage toy watch on 7 3/4 inch long card. These are really really nice. Marked "Made in Japan" "Sweetheat Watch" "Moving Hands". Tin watch with plastic face and cloth strap. These are circa 1950 when a lot of this kind of stuff was on cardboard. Very little survived because over the years the cards broke and came apart. These came from an unopened case that we rescued from an old toy distributor on the east coast. They are in amazing condition.
