Vintage August 1977 issue of Hustler magazine. In a never ending hunt for publicity, Hustler put out this Scratch 'n' Sniff Centerfold issue. It is one of the harder ones to find from that year. They retail for over $20 in this kind of condion. These were found unused at a magazine distibutorship in Brooklyn, NY. and were never put out for sale. They are in nearly perfect condition. There were part of a large skid of all sorts of old magazines that had never been distributed that we bought. Not pictured so as not to offend anyone.

Vintage December 1980 issue of Celeb magazine. Ok, here's the deal. I can find no info on this magazine anywhere. They are still wrapped in cellophane. These were found unused at a magazine distibutorship in Brooklyn, NY. and were never put out for sale. My guess is that these were held out for a reason. Maybe you know? Since I can find no other copies anywhere on earth, I am certain they are very rare, so who knows.

Vintage August 1977 Volume 1 Number 10 Issue of Chic magazine. This is an early high quality magazine that Larry Flint put out to compete with Playboy. It is glossy and has more articles and less pictures. There is an interview with Muhammed Ali and other more intellectual articles. These were part of a large load of magazines that were on a skid load we bought. They came from a distributorship in Brooklyn, NY. They are in near perfect condition.

#ZBOT044 - Early Cinderella Face Beautifier Label
4 1/2" wide vintage early 1900's Cinderella Face Beautifier label. Unused old factory stock from the Dr. Blumer's plant in Chicago. Excellent condition. Two things of note. These labels do not have a size or weight listed which was required by law after around 1910, meaning they were made before that time. Also, the Cinderella story has a really interesting history. It dates all the way back to China in the 9th century. It became popular all over the world in the late 1850s when it was retold by the Grimm brothers. It made another comeback on stage in the late 1800s and was repopularized again by Disney around 1950.

You can pick up old ketchup bottles at bottle shows and antique malls very cheap. Put one of these labels on them and then you will have a great item. They are fantastic stone litho images. Vintage 4" wide Chipico Pickle jar label. Neat Chipico Indian logo. I traveled up north to get these many years ago and got them all (there were many varieties). The rest went to the dump. Unfortunately, most burned up in our warehouse fire, but I was able to trade around and get a few back for you. They are from around 1950 and look great on an old pickle jar. They are all pickle labels but some wills say dills or sweet pickles or some other variation. They are marked Chicago Pickle Co., Chicago, IL.
