The Golden Gate hotel and casino has the distinction of having the address #1 Fremont street as it was the first building erected in Las Vegas. Built in 1906. We actually visited there last year when we were one vacation. They have really kept it in nice shape. Their sundae cup of shrimp for only $1 is the best deal in town. Great steaks too. $1.00
