Vintage 9" tall heavy cardboard cigarette holder display. The pipe holders are 4 1/2" long. It says "Be-Bop Pipe Novelty CIgarette Holders" "All Cigarette Smokers". These are from the Be-Bop era around 1950 when smoking was very popular. You put a cigarette in the holder and smoked it vertically. These are unsold stock that I pulled out of the now defunct Pressner warehouse in New York many years ago. Excellent condition. Circa 1950.

#SIGN054 - Blue-Tip Cigar Fan Hanger Sign
Vintage 6 1/4" wide cardboard sign advertising Blue-Tip Cigars. This was a fan hanger sign. Fan Hangers were tied to the string of store ceiling fans (before air conditioning) and slowly turned from the breeze of the fan, and so fan hanger signs are always two sided. The signs are identical on both sides. They were just found recently in the old factory and are the only examples I know of. All have some small typical paint flaking as you can see in the picture if you look close, but you won't find any better anywhere. Circa 1930s.
$1.50

Vintage unused full pack of front cover striker Golden Gate Casino Matches. They say "Golden Gate Casino Downtown Las Vegas" and are unused and from around the 1960s. Extremely nice condition. The Golden Gate hotel and casino has the distinction of having the address #1 Fremont street as it was the first building erected in Las Vegas. Built in 1906. We actually visited there last year when we were one vacation. They have really kept it in nice shape. Their sundae cup of shrimp for only $1 is the best deal in town. Great steaks too.

#CS183 - Master Carton for Insert Tobacco Tins
Vintage 9" tall unused cardboard master carton. Pictures Insert Tobacco tins on the sides and says they were made to contain one dozen of the 5¢ size. Marked "John Weisert Tobacco Co. St. Louis, MO". Empty and folded flat. They have perforations so the box could be split into two counter displays, Somehow the contents of this defunct factory ended up at an auction house in Felicity, Ohio a number of years ago. We bought most of it, but it ended up burning in our warehouse fire a few years ago. We still had a small stack of these sitting around the house.
$1.50
#TOP015 - Finos Selectos Cigar Sleeve
Vintage 5" tall sleeve that you can pop open and put a cigar in. The master box was marked Reliance Cigares Paris. These are very old. Likely circa 1900. They say Finos Selectos Para Caballeros on one side and Legitimos Hojas De Habana on the other. They are in very nice shape. Put a cigar in them and they are perfect for an old country store display. This is old unused stock, but there are not many and they are very uncommon. Very good quality image with gilding.
$1.00
#ZLSC045 - Group of 6 Rudolph Valentino Cigar Bands
You get 6 for $3 (that's 50¢ each). Embossed and gilded cigar band labels say “Rudolph Valentino Quality Cigar”. From the mid 1920’s when Rudolph Valentino was considered the ultimate screen lover. He was idolized by the female fans of the 1920's like Elvis was in the 1950’s. He died an untimely death in 1926 at only 31 years of age (from a perforated ulcer), which probably explains why these cigar band labels were never used. These have become very difficult to find.
$3.00

Vintage checks from The Bank of Cloverdale which was in Indianapolis, IN. Both have a large image of an Elk. There were two types found. One has been cashed and has signatures on it. The other type is unused. You'll get one of each. These are nice.
