Vintage 4 1/4" square Lucky Bill outer cigar box label. Nice unused condition. This is an old one. Circa 1910s. Embossed and gilded with a picture of Lucky Bill. Says "Notice: The Manufacturers of the Cigars herein contained, have complied with all the requirements of law. Every Person is cautioned not to use this box for cigars again, or the stamp theron again, nor remove the contents of this box without destroying said stamp, under the penalties provided by law in such cases. " Unused old factory stock from a long time ago.

#MS050 - P. Lorillard Tobacco Company Letterhead
Vintage 11" tall Lorillard letterhead. These were found in storage at the Brockmeyer Cigar Company in St. Louis, MO. They are letters that were written by Lorillard to Brockmeyer about shipping, the war (WWII), new brands, etc. No two alike. Nice image of Indians smoking a pipe. All are dated in the 1940s. Condition is pretty good on these, but they will have typical aging, folds, etc.

Says the title and design was owned by Daniel Loughran Co., Inc. in Washington, DC. We got the following information from Richard Masemer who was the great grandson of D. Mcg. Newcomer. - D. Mcg. Newcomer was the owner of the cigar business who sold it in 1918 to Bobrow Brothers Inc. His father was an associate judge in York County , PA.
