They came from a cache of toys from a large distributorship that got hung up in bankruptcy in New York City many years ago, and are in perfect condition. We dug these out of the warehouse they ended up in.

#BEADS0390 - Round Earthy Picasso Austrian Bead
Vintage 6mm diameter reddish brown earthy looking picasso bead. These are glass and the color pattern varies on each bead. They are all earth tone shades. These came from a bead store on the east coast that closed over 30 years ago. A lot of the stock was older than that and they carried a lot of Picasso beads. These are the older rusty looking picasso finish from around the 1950s or perhaps earlier. The package they were in is marked Austria. Picasso beads were pressed into shapes, then fire polished by subjecting them to high heat for a short time to melt just the very outer layer of glass. Then they were subjected to various heated gasses from metals to get the coatings, which are on the beads. They have been made since around the 1930s till the present in several countries. Older colors and types are hard to find. The very earliest ones have earthy colors and aren't as shiny, but have a certain look to them.

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 12 for $3 (that's 25¢ each). Vintage large 12" tall advertising bib giveaway featuring the A & W root beer mascot "The Great Root Bear". They are also marked "Copyright A & W International 1978". The bib has a pocket at the bottom to catch food and ties at the top. 1978 was the year A & W standardized their menus at franchises and started using the bear mascot in the United States (he was a couple of years earlier in Canada). These early Root Bear items are very scarce. His run as the chain mascot lasted all the way into the late 1990s. These are unused old stock in near perfect condition. We bought these right, and passing quite a deal on to you.

They came from the estate of the late Larry "The Bottleman" Johnson, who was a friend. Larry was a picker his whole life, and he will be missed by the antique community.

Then it lists times to watch. They have a slot on the top to attach to a bottle. These are old unused stock found in a Coke plant in excellent unused condition.

These are not real common and are in great condition. They are from around 1950, and are from the Sunrise Dairy Farm in Portland, Oregon. We got them from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist, who had one of the best milk bottle cap collections in the country.

Vintage 25mm (1.0") tall beveled edge glass cameo made from two pieces of glass. The upper piece is a naval pennant. Flat back. These are from around the 1920s. Box was marked "Adolf Meller Company" "Czechoslovakia". These are very uncommon. I haven't seen them offered anywhere else. Perfect condition under the dust. These are thick glass and very nice.
 
This is from our latest treasure hunt! From a warehouse of cabachons and beads! All were in original packaging. All are 50-90 years old!

These were part of a fad in the 1960s and 1970s.  Kleenex had a promotion where you sent away for parts like this and they showed you how to make a doll. This one was just the head. There were several variations. People used this one to make Mrs. Santa Claus. These heads are about 4" tall and made of a rubbery plastic material that is bendable. The eyes are three dimensional plastic and sparkly (the carton they were in said doll masks with crystal eyes). I found them sealed in their original cellophane wrapping and they are in excellent like new condition. I'm sure you doll collectors out there will know more about these. We just found these in a warehouse very near here we have been trying to get in for 20 years!
