##MUSICBP1162 - Rare Laminated Passes from the Princess Diana Visit to Chicago in 1996 - As low as $4.50 each

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage rare 4 1/2" tall passes from the Lady Diana's visit to Chicago in 1991. Front is marked "The Royal Visit". The reverse says "The Royal Visit" "Her Royal Highness, The Princess of Wales Visits Chicago June 4-6, 1996". The types and color vary. For example, the Event Staff are purple and the Press passes are gold. We found these in remote storage at OTTO (The Printer). This laminated version with writing on both sides is very rare. These are unused old stock in excellent condition.

#CH326-33 - JImmy Wakely Rainbow Over the Rockies Poster/Broadside

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 12 3/4" tall paper movie poster/broadside from the 1947 movie "Rainbow Over the Rockies" starring famous country singer "Jimmy Wakely". He was one of the famous "singing cowboys", and was very well known in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s for his many movie appearances and records. He had a number of songs on the top 10 charts including "Slippin' Around" which hit number 1 on the country and pop charts. He even had his own comic book. Please click the picture to see a more detailed image. Back in the day, when a new movie was going to play at the local theatre, there would be a guy who would run around town tacking these things on bulletin boards, telephone poles, fence posts, or anyplace else where they might be seen. Because most were outdoors, few have survived. Some will have small edge tears or roughness, but this is true of all paper movie broadsides, and they can easily be trimmed for framing. Although, a few small imperfections kind of adds to the look with these. Colors vary. We got them from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist. He found them in the storage area of an old theatre up in Northeast Ohio.

#NE030 - Daring Black Guy Sitting on an Alligator Postcard - St. Augustine - As low as $1.75

Vintage 5 1/2" wide 1940s linen postcard. It pictures a black guy in a tophat sitting on an alligator with other alligators all around. Front says "Taking it easy in Florida at the St. Augustine Alligator and Ostrich Farm". Back Says "Florida Souvenir Co., St. Augustine, FL.". The St. Augustine Farm, Zoological Park, where these were found, is one of Florida's oldest tourist attractions, and has been around since 1893. It has it's own official designation as a U. S. Historical District. These are unused old stock in excellent condition.

##MUSICBP2066 - Rare Mick Jagger Solo Career PERRI VIP Laminated Backstage Pass from the 1988 Lash Tour - Andy Warhol Designed Pass

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image of both sides of the pass. This Mick Jagger pass is both a rare and desirable pass. The pass and artwork were designed by Andy Warhol. Excellent unused condition. PERRI was the second largest distributor and manufacturer of backstage passes for major music acts all over the world. I bought these directly from the collection of the owner Toni Perri, who was a friend and has since passed away. These can go for very big money.
