This catalog is dedicated to the memory of Zane Shaffer. He was a pioneer in this field who recently left us. A lot of you have likely crossed paths with him. He was, arguably, the largest dealer in our type of merchandise on the East Coast. His family sold us a large lot of his inventory with the hope that his items will find good homes with people who appreciate them. You will see a lot of them over the next year or so, and we will mark them as such. Here is a note from his family "Whether he was gettin' his road warrior on traveling to antique markets in places like Shupp's Grove or buying/selling online, he enjoyed every minute of it. He held a very special place in his heart for the people, the places, and 'the old things'. It's really good to know that his collection will reach all the folks that had the same passion about them. #ZLS173 - Rare Myopia Club Raspberry Soda Bottle Label - Different Indian
4 1/2" wide vintage circa 1920s Myopia Club Raspberry Soda label. This is a very nice vintage gilded stone litho label picturing an Indian in full headress (different Indian than the Myopia Cherry we have elsewhere in the catalog). A small lot of these were found in an old soda plant in Islington, MA a long time ago and they are very hard to come by. They are in excellent unused condition. We got them from the estate of friend and famous collector Bob Secrist.

#ZLSC079 - Clint Ford Cigar Box End Label - Famous Actor - As low as 50¢ each
(Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image) Vintage 5" wide embossed and gilded Christy Clint Ford cigar label that went on the end of a cigar box. Clint Ford was a very popular actor, and appeared frequently at the Star Theatre in New York in the late 1800's. Unused stock in nice condition.  Circa 1900 or earlier. Nice historical piece. These came from the estate of long time dealer and friend Bob Secrist.

Vintage 13" wide Fresno Bella crate label. Pictures a Fresno Bella. Pretty girls were often used on grape crate labels to try and draw attention. Click the picture to see a much larger image. Unused old stock in excellent condition from the Tri-Boro Fruit CO., Inc. in Fresno CA, and marked as such. These are from the 1960s. Not common.

Vintage 3 1/2" tall trading card wax pack. Marked "Fleer Gum" "Official Major League Baseball Iron-Ons". I wouldn't open them, but there are three Iron-Ons in each pack. Dated 1968. They are very rare and you are not going to find one near this price anywhere else.

Scarce vintage 12" tall The King and I program from the final City Center Light Opera production starring Michael Kermoyan and Constance Towers. It ran for 3 weeks in 1968. These are from a large collection of programs that we purchased. All are priced substantially lower than you will find on Ebay. Excellent unused condition.

#ZZCE063 - E. J. Korvette, Inc. Stock Certificate
(Click the image to view the full certificate) Vintage 12" wide stock certificate from "E. J. Korvette, Inc.". Korvette is considered a famous innovator in the discount market and was credited with developing the discount model whereby stores sell at lower margins and make profits by greater volume and fast turnover. They were eventually bought out by Spartans Industries and some of the certificates are stamped with the name change. These are are dated in the mid 1960s. Used stock certificate in great condition.

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image of the full letter. Vintage 11" tall letter that was mailed with Buff & Buff catalogs back around 1930 or so. Beautiful large image of a surveyor's telescope (transit). They about how precise their instruments were. The metal signs that went on the transits are in the "Sign" section of the catalog and are a real bargain. They came from the estate of the famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist and are in excellent unused condition.

From back in the day when few people had air conditioning. Illustrated on each page. These are unused stock found in the back of an old appliance store, and are in excellent unused condition.

#HH207 - Large Diecut Mechanical Valentine with Boy and Girl with Fan - Original Envelope
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage large 7" tall diecut mechanical valentine that features a boy and a girl fanning herself. The girl's fan swivels on a brass grommet. Nice condition. Fun image. The picture is set against the original envelope which is included.  From a long closed factory that made them in the 1950s. Includes original envelope. Very colorful. These days it will cost you $5 to buy a new good quality oversize card with the envelope like this. These are a real bargain.

##MUSICBP0101  - Willie Nelson Nacogdoches Tour Backstage Pass - As low as 75¢ each
Click the picture to see a large detailed image picturing both sides of the pass. Vintage 4 1/2" tall Willie Nelson 2004 OTTO cloth Backstage Pass from the Nacogdoches tour that year. This is an uncommon one. It has advertising on it for "Willie's Corner" "Texas Roadhouse". Willie is the Texas Roadhouse spokesperson and every Texas Roadhouse has a table called "Willie's Corner". Willie is very popular and this pass is a one hard to find. Excellent unused condition. These are part of a group of passes that were found here locally at the OTTO (Cincinnati) company. OTTO was and still is the largest distributor and manufacturer of backstage passes for major music acts all over the world. These came directly from their remote storage building.

The Family Value tour was a very successful 4 1/2 hour concert that featured Korn, Limp Bizkit, Ice Cube, Incubus, Orgy, and Rammstein. Sizes and color vary. Some are "After Show" and some are "Working Personnel". You will get a mixture. They all picture mom with a gun. We found a big box of these and so are selling them at a silly low price. Excellent unused condition.

##MUSICBP0194 - Slash and Friends Sold Out Backstage Pass - as low as $3 each
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage large 5 1/2" tall laminated OTTO backstage pass from a Slash and Friends 2009 show with special guests. They did three shows with famous musicians covering each other's songs as a group. They had special guests like Ozzy, and Billy Idol. The players were Slash himself (Guns N' Roses), John 5 (Marylin Manson and Rob Zombie), Dave Navarro (Red Hot Chili Peppers), etc. etc. You get the idea. They made these passes so they said sold out, but ironically not all of the shows sold out. The joke was that Slash had sold out. These are not real old, but they are unusual and we didn't find many. These are unused stock that we found at the OTTO (manufacturer) warehouse.
