This catalog is dedicated to the memory of Zane Shaffer. He was a pioneer in this field who recently left us. A lot of you have likely crossed paths with him. He was, arguably, the largest dealer in our type of merchandise on the East Coast. His family sold us a large lot of his inventory with the hope that his items will find good homes with people who appreciate them. You will see a lot of them over the next year or so, and we will mark them as such. Here is a note from his family "Whether he was gettin' his road warrior on traveling to antique markets in places like Shupp's Grove or buying/selling online, he enjoyed every minute of it. He held a very special place in his heart for the people, the places, and 'the old things'. It's really good to know that his collection will reach all the folks that had the same passion about them. Edgewood Club Whiskey label. This is the 3" tall size. These are unused old stock found at The American Liquor Company in Boston, MA. High quality gilded labels from the 1930s. Whiskey barrel image.

#ZZA233 - 16 Card Set of Exhibit Supply Hair  Color Fortune Teller Cards
You get 16 for for $3.00 (that's around 18¢ each). Vintage 3 3/8" wide cards that were dispensed at penny arcades and amusement parks from Exhibit Supply hair color fortune machines. They say the hair color like "Yellow Hair - Men" (there are 16 variations) and your fortune. These were first made in the 1920s, but were in continual production till about 1960 when there weren't enough machines left to make them anymore. These are likely from the 1950s. They used the same plates to produce these for 30 years, so some of these later cards have some small smears and faint lettering even though they are in unused perfect condition. They were found in original bundles with exhibit supply packaging in storage at an old amusement park up in the northeast.

#ZZCE048 - Collins Radio Company Stock Certificate
(Click the image to view the full certificate) Vintage 12" wide stock certificate from the Collins Radio Company. All are from the 1960s and have signatures. The Collins Radio Company became famous when they built the equipment the Admiral Richard Byrd used in his South Pole expedition in 1933.  They became a major military suppliersduring WWII because of their uncompromising quality. They supplied communications for many of our space craft in later years including Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo. They were bought out by Rockwell in 1973. These are in way above average condition for issued stock certificates.

#ZZCE052 - United State Gypsum Stock Certificate
(Click the image to view the full certificate) Vintage 12" wide stock certificate from the "United States Gypsum Company". They are are all from the late 1960s. They were used, but someone took really good care of them. There are no staples or bends. United States Gypsum is still the largest manufacturer of gypsum products in North America.

This company started as National Radiator Company in 1892 and ended up being a huge international corporation. These are are dated in the 1960s. It was bought out in 1976. Used stock certificate in great condition.

Vintage 4 3/4" tall laminated Melissa Etheridge Live and Alone tour (2002/03) All Access backstage pass. These are in excellent unused condition. Lettering is all in fancy laser foil. I bought these a number of years ago directly from the collection of Tony Perri who owned PERRI passes before they went bankrupt. Tony was a friend and recently passed away. Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 4 3/4" tall Everlast PERRi laminated backstage pass from the 2000 Eat at Whitey's Tour. Everlast broke on to the scene in 1999 when he and Santana had a massive rock hit with Puts your Light On. It won a Grammy for Best Rock Performance by a Duo in 2000. These came from the collection of my friend Toni Perry who owned PERRi Passes and passed away a couple of years ago. These are in excellent unused condition.

Vintage very large 20mm tall foiled flat back rhinestone with holes for sewing on a garment. Beautiful amethyst color. Sew ons in the size are downright rare. They are Czech and from the 1950s. Vintage huge 14mm Czech multifaceted glass crystal bead. These are very very fancy. They have 32 highly polished facets that have an Aurora Borealis finish. They look like rainbow mirrors, and are spectacular. These are super high quality. They are from around the 1960s, and are unsold old stock from an old warehouse up in the northeast we recently visited. Excellent unused condition. Prices are per bead.

Vintage large 17mm across frosted glass Czech glass bead, Lozenge shaped. These are very uncommon and they are very nice.  They were made around the 1950s. #DC132 - Ziemba Dairy Raw Milk Bottle Cap - Tuberculosis Tested Herd
Vintage 42mm (1.7") diameter from around 1930 or earlier when they started testing cows for Tuberculosis. Marked "Ziemba Dairy Raw Milk from Tuberculosis Tested Herd" "Dudley Massachusetts". These came from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist, who had one of the best milk bottle cap collections in the country.

They picture an ancient warrior with spear and sword standing over and adversary and says "Sic Semper Tyrannis" which is the motto of Virginia. They are from around the 1950 and are in excellent unused condition. They came from the estate of renowned collector and friend Bob Secrist. They are marked "Warren J. Courtney & Son Mundy Point Virginia".

#ZLT033 - John Weisert's Black Gold Smoking Mixture Tobacco Box Label - As low as 35¢ each

They are unused old factory stock that was found at the Weisert Tobacco building in St. Lous, Missouri many years ago. Excellent condition. These are from the 1940s (WWII era) when metal rationing forced the tobacco companies to use cardboard boxes.

#BEADS0747 - 18mm Goldstone Flecked Red and White Plastic Cabochon - As Low as 20¢ each

These are early West German plastic from the 1950s and indistinguishable from glass except they are lighter weight. Flat back. Perfect, never seen the light of day condition. We found these on a recent trip to the northeast to a warehouse that has not seen the light of day for many years.

#SOZ099 - Ski Soda Window Decal
Vintage 8" wide window decal says "Ski 20oz Bottles Now 4 oz free" "Naturally Flavored Citrus Soda". The decals are on a wide piece of paper. You peel them off and get them wet and they will stick to glass. They still work. These are about 25 years old. Excellent unused condition.
