#ZLT015 - Dan Patch Cut Plug Tobacco Wrapper
Vintage Dan Patch tobacco wrapper. Unused stock from the Scotten, Dillon Company, Detroit, Michigan. Dan Patch was one of the most famous race horses in history. He was retired in 1909. These are from right around then or a little earlier. A large lot of old boxes and paper were found at the Scotten Dillon warehouse many years ago. We just picked up several different types from the guy who rescued them and they are some of the oldest ones that were found. They are very nice and in excellent condition. The entire label is 12" long and wrapped around a plug of tobacco. The image pictured showed up on the front and is about 4" wide.

#ZLT035 - Perfect Pipe Smoking Mixture Tobacco Box Label
Vintage 7 1/2" wide (click picture to see an enlarged image) Perfect Pipe Smoking Mixture label that went on a box. They are unused old factory stock that was found at the Weisert Tobacco building in St. Lous, Missouri many years ago. Excellent condition. These are from the 1940s (WWII era) when metal rationing forced the tobacco companies to use cardboard boxes.

Vintage 5 1/2" tall E and K American Sweet Vermouth bottle label. These were found by some friends at the Engels and Krudwig Wine Co. in Sandusky, Ohio. Wonderful unused condition. Picture gold coins and coats of arms. Circa 1930s.

Desmet Maertens".  This is a Dutch spirits label from the 1940s that pictures the old dutchman with a windmill in the background. Excellent unused condition. We acquired these from a long time label dealer on the west coast that we bought out.

#ZZCE054 - Crowell Collier and Macmillan, Inc. Stock Certificate
(Click the image to view the full certificate) Vintage 12" wide stock certificate from "Crowell Collier and Macmillan, Inc". These are are all from the 1960s when the well known Macmillan Publishers merged with Crowell Collier. They were used, but someone took really good care of them. There are no staples or bends. The company spilt and merged several times. More recently the remnants of the company had a rough time because of competition from the internet. They were bought out again and rebranded under the Macmillan name again.

The initials ACF stand for American Car and Foundry Company which was the original name in 1899. They are still a leading manufacturer of specialty railcar and car parts. These are are dated 1978 or earlier. Used stock certificate in great condition.

Vintage RockBill magazine. This is the April 1984 issue that featured Robert Fripp of King Crimson on the cover. This issue also has stories and gossip about The Pretenders, The Alarm, Femme Violence, Thomas Dolby, and many others. RockBill was a competitor of Rolling Stone magazine from about 1982 till 1988. They covered all the major groups and the magazines are now widely collected. They are 8 3/8" tall and full color throughout. These are unsold old store stock that was never sold. They are rarely found in this kind of condition.

You get the pair for $1 (That's 50¢ each). Vintage 1 5/8" diameter Disturbed pinbacks. Disturbed is one of those rock/metal groups that has stood the test of time. Their recent cover of "The Sounds of Silence" is one of the most popular songs on the radio today. These pinbacks are from their earlier years. They are licensed and marked "Copyright 2000 Disturbed licensed by Giant" around the rim. These are unsold old stock in perfect condition.

Vintage standard 5 1/2" postcard pictures Cat Stevens playing on the front. The reverse has a place for a stamp and says "Cat Stevens" "Published by Coral-Lee" "1978". Unused old store stock in great condition. Click the picture to see both sides.
 
Cat Stevens was one of the most influential song writers of the 1970s with Peace Train, Moonshadow, Wild World, and Oh Very Young and many others played on the radio constantly back in the day. In keeping with the possessionless ideology of the day, he quit music in 1977, auctioned off all his guitars for charity in 1979, and wandered the mideast looking for God. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014 and has returned to music.

Excellent unused condition and hard to come by. Made with fancy laser foil. These were made by PERRI passes and were made with blank backs. Excellent unused condition.

##MUSICBP0141 - Rare Bob Dylan Laminated Foil OTTO Backstage Pass from the 1992 World Tour
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 4 1/4" tall foil double sided (same image on both sides) Bob Dylan unmarked OTTO backstage pass from the 1992 World Tour. This is one of the very first passes foil was used on. Reflective foil was used as a security precaution used to keep people from trying to copy the passes and get into a concert free. In these early foil passes, they leave tiny bubble marks in the lamination. That is par for the course. Excellent unused condition.

##MUSICBP0163 - Everly Brothers Laminated All Access OTTO Backstage Pass for the 1990 Tour
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image of both sides of the pass. Vintage 4 3/8" tall laminated All Access OTTO backstage pass for the 1990 tour. The Everly Brothers were groundbreakers with hits like Bye Bye Love, Wake Up Little Suzie, and All I Have to do is Dream in the 1950s and 1960s. They were one of the first country groups to be played regularly in the mainstream. In 1997, they were awarded a lifetime Grammy Achievement Award. I believe Don Everly is still alive, but Phil has passed on. These are unused old stock.

##MUSICBP0188 - MEGAFORCE Records Santa Laminated OTTO All Access Backstage Pass
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image of both sides of the pass. Vintage very large 5 1/2" tall laminated OTTO "All Access" backstage pass from a MEGAFORCE Records Christmas event. They are circa 1990 and have a very colorful detailed picture of Santa rocking it out on a guitar. The image is artist signed by Chris B....... (that's all the letters I can read). The OTTO mark is embedded in the Christmas decoration at the bottom on the back. MEGAFORCE records were industry mavericks. They went after the metal bands when the other labels weren't paying attention. They were founded in  1982, and signed Metallica that year when no other label was interested. It was a big break for both of them. They went on to sign Anthrax, The Black Crowes, Johnny Winter, Cyndi Lauper and many many famous artists. They are best know in the metal community where they are the go to label. Excellent unused condition.
