This catalog is dedicated to the memory of Zane Shaffer. He was a pioneer in this field who recently left us. A lot of you have likely crossed paths with him. He was, arguably, the largest dealer in our type of merchandise on the East Coast. His family sold us a large lot of his inventory with the hope that his items will find good homes with people who appreciate them. You will see a lot of them over the next year or so, and we will mark them as such. Here is a note from his family "Whether he was gettin' his road warrior on traveling to antique markets in places like Shupp's Grove or buying/selling online, he enjoyed every minute of it. He held a very special place in his heart for the people, the places, and 'the old things'. It's really good to know that his collection will reach all the folks that had the same passion about them. We truly hope you enjoy them as much as he did."

#CS162 - Group of 4 Tru-Fit Elastic Sanitary Belt Envelopes
You get 4 for $2 (that's 50¢ each). Vintage 6" tall Tru-Fit Sanitary Belt paper envelopes. These are circa 1900 and show a little very minor signs of aging, but are in good condition. They were found many years ago at the Lynas warehouse in Logansport, IN. They are marked The Logan Fabric Company. The back says "THE BELT" "is made from the finest fabric and pure rubber" etc. Said it could be reused. Great image on the front.

#PL123 - President Nixon Pinback - Red, White, Blue
Vintage 1 1/8" diameter 1972 President Nixon campaign pin. Says "Re-elect the president committee" on the rim. These are unused old stock from one of our customers who put them back a long time ago.

#ZLBE018 - Sebewaing Beer Labels - Pheasant
Vintage 1950s (dated 1952) Sebewaing Beer label with beautiful colorful picture of a flying pheasant. Unusually large size. 4 " wide labels went on a 12 oz bottle. Unused stock in nice condition from the Sebewaing Brewery in Sebewaing, MI.

Vintage 9” wide Prince of Wales Citrus crate label. Bright colorful picture of the Prince of Wales. They were found at the Lake Wales Citrus Growers Association in Lake Wales, Polk County, FL. They are from around 1950. Excellent unused condition.

#ZLSC021 - LUCKY BILL (warning label) Outer Cigar Box Label
Vintage 4 1/4" square Lucky Bill outer cigar box label. Nice unused condition. This is an old one. Circa 1910s. Embossed and gilded with a picture of Lucky Bill. Says "Notice: The Manufacturers of the Cigars herein contained, have complied with all the requirements of law. Every Person is cautioned not to use this box for cigars again, or the stamp theron again, nor remove the contents of this box without destroying said stamp, under the penalties provided by law in such cases. " Unused old factory stock from a long time ago.

Vintage 13" wide Exeter Lily Emporer Grape crate label picturing a lily. Beautiful label. Unused stock from the S. E Pruner growers and shippers in Exeter, CA. Circa 1940s.

#ZLSG024 - Carnation Grape Crate Label
Vintage 13" wide Carnation grape crate label picturing carnations. This is the oldest version that was found and has vivid colors. Unused stock from M. D. Hopper in Fresno, Ca. Litho mark is Stecher Traung. Circa 1940s.

#BC052 - Group of 10 Silver and Green 7Up The Uncola Caps
You get 10 for $1.00 (that's 10¢ each). Vintage older 7up plastic lined soda caps with "7UP the Uncola" logo on the cap. Unused,and in nice condition. Circa 1970s. Found in the Dr. Pepper Bottling plant in Jefferson, NC.

#BC003 - Group of 10 Early Plastic Lined Coca Cola Bottle Caps
Vintage plastic lined Coca Cola Bottle Cap. You get 10 for $1.20 (that's 12¢ each). These are very early for plastic lined caps and are from round the late 1960s. They have the old fish tail logo and are very nice. They are in excellent unused condition. They were found at the plant.

3 1/2" tall 1960s Coca Cola paper cups. Great shape. Both sides of the cup are shown in the picture. Famous Coke Snowflake logo. Antique & Collectible.

#MS094 - 1948 Great-West Life Calendar Blotter
Vintage 6" wide ink blotter advertising Great-West Life Assurance Company. It says you were supposed to circle the date when your payment was due on the calendar to remind you to send them payment. Scene of a family at the beach. Excellent unused condition.

2 1/4" diameter Mitt Romney 2008 presidential campaign pinback. These are good quality. These are unsold old stock from a distributor.

#ZLC066 - Wagon Train Fine  Fruits Crate Label - Blue
10 1/2" wide vintage circa 1940s fruit crate label. This version is not very common and is a great framer with a wonderful western image of wagon trains, oxen, and settlers. Unused old stock found at the Gordon Green Company in Medford, OR.

#ZLCA051 - Jonesport Mackerel Can Label
Vintage 10" wide unused Jonesport Mackerel can label. Unused stock from the packer, R.B. and C. G. Stevens in Jonesport Maine. Nice old one with a good image of a lighthouse and ship. Circa 1920s.

#ZLCA076 - 11" Wide Velvet Rose Pumpkin Can Label
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage circa 1930s Velvet Rose pumpkin can label. This is a very beautiful 11" wide shellaced stone litho. These are popular with the Halloween collectors. Unused old stock in excellent condition from the Brighton Canning Co. in Brighton, IA.

#ZLS082 - Mr Cola Grapette Bank Label
Vintage 3 1/2" wide unused 1960s label that says "Drink Mr. Cola Aristocrat of Colas" and is marked Grapette Company. These were found a number of years ago in an old soda plant in Camden, Arkansas. They were made for use on a Mr. Cola glass bank. Grapette owned Mr. Cola and they were the same banks used for Grapette.

#ZZZ002 - Universal Blade Service Letterhead
Vintage unused letterhead from the Universal Blade Service in Fond du Lac, WI. They sold and repaired bread machine blades. During the 1920s, aluminum was really a big deal and so I guess they were getting in on that act too as it also says they were the "Home of the all aluminum revolving cake decorating stand"! 4 digit phone number. Unused condition. 11" tall.

Vintage soda bottle cap pictures a top hat on it. Unused stock from an old soda plant in St. Louis. Nice shape. Cork lined. These are in really nice shape. Bottle caps with pictures on them have become a very popular collectible. Circa 1940s.

11 1/2" wide bumper sticker from Romney's failed bid. These could have good future value if he makes a winning run at a later time. These are unused old stock from a distributor. This is a large find and contained merchandise from Clinton through the last election.

Vintage 13" wide circa 1940s Cherry Red Tomato crate label with a very nice image of a robin. Very colorful. Unused old stock from the Edward Dickinson Packers in Fancher, NY. These are not real common.
