This catalog is dedicated to the memory of Zane Shaffer. He was a pioneer in this field who recently left us. A lot of you have likely crossed paths with him. He was, arguably, the largest dealer in our type of merchandise on the East Coast. His family sold us a large lot of his inventory with the hope that his items will find good homes with people who appreciate them. You will see a lot of them over the next year or so, and we will mark them as such. Here is a note from his family "Whether he was gettin' his road warrior on traveling to antique markets in places like Shupp's Grove or buying/selling online, he enjoyed every minute of it. He held a very special place in his heart for the people, the places, and 'the old things'. It's really good to know that his collection will reach all the folks that had the same passion about them. These are from 1999 and are marked "SandyLion Sticker Design" and copyright "Lucasfilm Ltd". These are books with blank pages to put your Star Wars stickers in. We found these in a store up north where they had never seen the light of day. Excellent unused condition.

#CS357 - Full Display Card of Deco Dress Clips from the 1920s

Vintage 8 1/2" tall display card has a dozen 1 3/4" wide real carved deco design early Bakelite type plastic dress clips attached. To give you an idea of the age, click the picture to see the backs. They were hand sewn onto the cards. The back of one is also shown in the larger picture with the standard back that was used for dress clips during this time period (1920s). They came from an old beauty supply store where, from what we can tell, they were stuffed away when the Great Depression hit in 1929. The cards are dusty and have bends. The clips are in unused mint condition under the dust.

Says "Fresh Roasted Coffee One Pound Net Weight". These are unused old stock from around 1950. They were found at the Janney Coffee Co. warehouse in Fredericksburg, Virginia. We acquired them from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast. Excellent unused condition.

#CS441 - Bukets Five Grain Tablets Box
Clcik the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 3 1/4" wide (2" deep) unused empty "Bukets" box. Says "one-fourth dozen boxes 5 grain". These held 3 large tins or boxes with 25 tablets in each. These are from around the 1930s. Marked "Keller Company Mechanicsburg, Ohio" which is where they were found. They are in excellent condition for their age with a little typical no harm aging. They will be shipped folded flat. They came from the estate of the late Larry "The Bottleman" Johnson, who was a friend. Larry was a picker his whole life, and he will be missed by the antique community.

#DA088  - Polar Junior Ice Cream Box

Marked on sides "Holbrook Ice Cream Co. 2765 Holbrook Ave." The company was in Detroit, Michigan and I believe these were the oldest items found there. We got them from the estate of a collector in Wisconsin. These are unused old stock found at the plant are in great condition.

#DC165 - Uncommon Commemorative 1787 Signing of the United States Constitution - As low as 40¢ each

Pictures the delegates from the colonies and says "1787 After the war was won, delegates from the original 13 colonies met to draw the United States Constitution". These aren't real common, and are rare in perfect condition like this.  Most you will find have rust. These have none. Excellent unused condition. These came from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist, who had one of the best milk bottle cap collections in the country.

#DC195 - Janeczek Bros. Wayside Dairy Chocolate Milk Bottle Cap

These are very scarce and can command some pretty high prices for reasons that I don't understand. #HH170 - Halloween Disguise Set - As low as $1.50 each
Vintage disguise set which includes fake nose, beard, and glasses. Package is about 7" tall. These are 1960s goofy Halloween stuff. The headers are brightly colored and somewhat humorous looking.  There is some rust at the staples. They are unsold old store stock that we found still in the original boxes right here in Ohio. I took one out of the package so you could see it more clearly.

#MS164 - 1908 Victorian Print - Lady in Yellow Hat with Hyacinths

Vintage 1908 (dated) 12 3/4" tall stone lithograph print on thin cardboard featuring a lady in a fancy yellow hat with hyacinths. Marked "The Gray Litho Co. NY." These have quite a history. They are unused old stock that was originally uncovered in a San Francisco commercial building. They were donated to a museum that wanted to sell them to raise funds for a monument dedicated to Eleanor Roosevelt, but, the museum owner passed away. Now, the are here. Excellent condition. These are incredibly beautiful.
