This catalog is dedicated to the memory of Zane Shaffer. He was a pioneer in this field who recently left us. A lot of you have likely crossed paths with him. He was, arguably, the largest dealer in our type of merchandise on the East Coast. His family sold us a large lot of his inventory with the hope that his items will find good homes with people who appreciate them. You will see a lot of them over the next year or so, and we will mark them as such. Here is a note from his family "Whether he was gettin' his road warrior on traveling to antique markets in places like Shupp's Grove or buying/selling online, he enjoyed every minute of it. He held a very special place in his heart for the people, the places, and 'the old things'. It's really good to know that his collection will reach all the folks that had the same passion about them. #ZLT034 - Escort Pipe/Cigarette Tobacco Box Label
Vintage 8 1/4" wide (click picture to see an enlarged image) tobacco label that went on a box. They say "Escort" "Your Constant Companion" "Mellow and Cool Cut for Pipe and Cigarette". They are unused old factory stock that was found at the Weisert Tobacco building in St. Lous, Missouri many years ago. Excellent condition. Rare label with a suggestive name. These are from the 1940s (WWII era) when metal rationing forced the tobacco companies to use cardboard boxes.

#ZZA202 - DIsney/Pixar A Bug's Life Sticker Album
Vintage 1998 10 3/4" tall sticker album made by Panini for Disney/Pixar (has the licensing marks for all). These have some sticker cards in them too. They were a kind of starter set for the album. You had to buy the stickers to try and complete it. They are unused old store stock in excellent condition.

#ZZA218 - Complete Card Set of 24 Different Exhibit Supply Palmistry for Women Penny Arcade Cards
You get the complete set of 24 for for $8 (that's only 33¢ each). These are cards that were dispensed at arcades and amusement parks in the Exhibit Supply Palmistry for Women machines. They are marked Exhibit Supply and picture a palmistry hand. They are about 3 1/2" wide and in unused condition. Complete sets in this condition are very hard to find. There was a set for men and one for women. They tell your fortune. I am looking at one that says "Men adore and worship you; women fear and sometimes hate you......." etc. These were found in original bundles with exhibit supply packaging in storage at an old amusement park up in the northeast. Based on the packaging, I would say these are from around the 1950s

#ZZCE069 - McKesson & Robbins Incorporated Stock Certificate
(Click the image to view the full certificate) Vintage 11 1/2" wide stock certificate from  "McKesson & Robbins Incorporated". Most are dated in the 1950s, but there are a few older than that. Used stock certificate in great condition. This was one of the pioneering companies in the health care industry in this country. They have been in business since 1833 selling medicine. Now they are known simply as McKesson.

This is a large and very old company that dates back to before the turn of the century. These are dated around 1968. Used stock certificate in great condition.

#ZZZ086 - Early and Very Rare Eisemann Barber Supply Letterhead
Vintage 8 1/2" wide unused letterhead. Fantastic image of the old barber chair. Every barbershop collector needs one of these. Click the picture to see a larger version of the old barber chair. They were found with some Eisemann labels which you will find elsewhere in this catalog that all date from around 1900 - 1910. These are about the same age. As you would expect,the paper shows some minor paper aging. Phil Eisemann was one of the premier barber suppliers in the country in the early 1900s. Eisemann signs and bottles are high dollar items for the collector. This letterhead is extremely rare. We bought the lot from a collector who had bought them with a bunch of high end Eisemann's signs.

#ZZZ112 - 1916 Dr. J. B. Lynas & Son Fine Flavorings and Medicines Check
Click the picture to see a detailed image. Vintage 8 1/4" wide check says "Dr. J. B. Lynas & Son Manufacturers of Fine Flavorings and Medicines". These are from the famous Lynas Medicine Co. in Logansport, Indiana. A lot of labels and bottles and other things were found there many years ago, but these checks are pretty scarce. These are used checks in nice condition.

Wetzel, Quincy, Ill.". Has a space that says "Place stamp here". These are from around 1910, and are in great unused condition.

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 6" tall two-sided paper flyer advertising Mosco Corn and Callous Remover. Advertising sheet with testimonials saying "It absolutely cured me", "Greatest remedy of the Age", etc. Pictures a period lady in a bathing suit on one side and a jar of Mosco on the other (both sides pictured). Marked "The Moss Company" "Rochester, N.Y.". These are from around 1900. We found them in an envelope in a Victorian scrap book. This is one of the few such products that has stood the test of time. It is still sold today!!!. Excellent unused condition.

Vintage RockBill magazine. This is the May 1986 issue that featured Rober Palmer (who has passed away in 2003) on the cover. This issue also has stories and gossip about Brian Setzer, Mick Jagger, Pet Shop Boys, Todd Rundgren, and many others. RockBill was a competitor of Rolling Stone magazine from about 1982 till 1988. They covered all the major groups and the magazines are now widely collected. They are 8 3/8" tall and full color throughout. These are unsold old store stock that was never sold or were returned because of bad addresses. They are rarely found in this kind of condition.

Backstage Pass from the October 16, 1992 concert that was held by Columbia records at Madison Square Gardens to celebrate Bob Dylan's 30th anniversary as a recording artist. Dylan played along with many famous artists. Featured artists were Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, and George Harrison amongst other. These were found in the OTTO warehouse and were made by OTTO. Excellent unused condition.

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 6 1/4" tall unused concert ticket from Madonna concert on November 15, 2005 at the KOKO club. These tickets have an interesting history. Madonna performed her first concert in the UK at the KOKO club. This concert was broadcast live vial AOL as an exclusive stream to promote Confessions on a Dance Floor. There were very few tickets and very few people actually saw the concert live, so these go for pretty good money. They retail for $25-$35. We got these from our friend the old roadie who is a world renowned expert on them. These are in perfect unused condition.

They have a foil Stones tongue logo. The backs tell about parking and that the concert will go on irregardless of weather condition. I was very excited when we found these. Excellent unused condition. These are unused stock that we found in the printer's warehouse (OTTO).
