This catalog is dedicated to the memory of Zane Shaffer. He was a pioneer in this field who recently left us. A lot of you have likely crossed paths with him. He was, arguably, the largest dealer in our type of merchandise on the East Coast. His family sold us a large lot of his inventory with the hope that his items will find good homes with people who appreciate them. You will see a lot of them over the next year or so, and we will mark them as such. Here is a note from his family "Whether he was gettin' his road warrior on traveling to antique markets in places like Shupp's Grove or buying/selling online, he enjoyed every minute of it. He held a very special place in his heart for the people, the places, and 'the old things'. It's really good to know that his collection will reach all the folks that had the same passion about them. You get 10 for $0.80 (that's 8¢ each). Double Cola plastic lined soda caps. These are from around the 1970s, and were found at the plant in Greensburg, KY. Excellent unused condition.

You get 10 for $1.00 (that's 10¢ each). Vintage deep blue RC plastic lined twist off soda caps. Marked "Royal Crown Cola Est. 1905". Unused,and in nice condition. Unused old stock ound in the Dr. Pepper Bottling plant in Jefferson, NC. They still use a similar style cap.

Scarce circa 1950s cork lined Moxie cap with a picture of the Moxie man. They say Old Fashion Moxie. We just have a few. They came out of the old Seven Up plant in Norwich, CT. They are unused, and in excellent condition.

Vintage circa 1950s cork lined Seher's Old English Ginger Beer bottle cap. Found at the Kasten Beverage bottling plant in Saugatuck, MI. Nice unused condition. This is a hard cap to find. There's a lot more of the bottles around than caps for them. They usually go for around $2 each on Ebay.

#BC157 - Group of 10 Cork Lined Pequot Bitter Lemon Soda Bottle Caps
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 10 for $1.50 (that's 15¢ each). Vintage cork lined Pequot Bitter Lemon soda bottle cap. Picture cap with ying yang symbol and ribbons. They were found at the Pequot Spring Water Company in Glastonbury, CT and are marked as such. Circa 1960.  The water that was used to make their soda came from a spring that was supposed to have magical powers according to the local Indians. Unused old stock in great shape for their age.

Says "Mission Strawberry Soda" on the front. Show some paint darkening from age around the rim, but still very nice unused condition.

10¢ each. Vintage skinny 8mm tall glass crystal Swarovski rhinestone. These came from an old closed bead store just north of here. They purchased them back around 1940 - 1950 for use in costume jewelry. They are in nice unused condition. They have an aluminum colored foil backing.

#BEADS0259 - Glass Intaglio Picturing a Bowler
Vintage 5/8" wide intaglio with a bowler throwing a bowling ball on it. These are West German from the 1950s. The glass is incised and painted with gold details. Excellent unused old stock.

These are from our recent trip. We just returned with these and over 100 other items! We found two separate warehouses with beads, cameos, cabochons, charms, and other stuff that went as far back as the early 1900s. It was pretty amazing to find these old places, and very exciting!

#BEADS0292 - Mod Design Glass Cabochon
Colorful vintage 10mm across Japanese glass cabochons with a mod design. They are from the mid 1960s and have that look to them. These are unsold stock in excellent unused condition.

This item is from our recent trip. We returned with these and over 100 other items! We found two separate warehouses loaded with beads, cameos, cabochons, charms, and other stuff that went as far back as the early 1900s. We are thrilled to share this stuff with you guys!

Vintage 8 mm square amber foil back faceted rhinestone. W These were made in West Germany around the 1950/60s and are high quality. They are in nice unused condition. Old store stock from the East Coast.

Vintage 6mm diameter flat disc shaped hematite spacer bead. These are very shiny and in excellent unused condition. We got them from a bead store on the east coast that closed over 30 years ago. A lot of the inventory was older than that. These are likely 1970s and West German.

Vintage large 18mm (.7") tall shield shaped rhinestone. Foiled pointy back. Packages said "West Germany Montan Vogcostone" which is a rare near cobalt color. Circa 1950s. Perfect condition.

#BEADS0529 - Mammoth 45mm Speckled Plastic Cabochon - As low as 25¢ each
Vintage round 45mm (1.8") across cabochon. Low dome flat back green speckled plastic cabochon. These are huge and look just like glass. Packages were marked "West Germany" and they are from the 1960s. If you need a huge green cabochon, this can save you some money. Glass this size would cost many times this price. They are in like new never seen the light of day perfect condition.

#BEADS0574 - Unusual Foiled Back Donut Shaped Mirror Glass Sew On Bead - As low as 10¢ each
Vintage 15mm diameter foiled back donut shaped sew on bead with holes for sewing on a garment. They are clear glass that has silver backing giving them the look of a mirror. Unusual. Sew ons in this shape and large size are downright rare. They are West German and from the 1950s. Unsold old stock from an old store up in the northeast we recently visited. Excellent unused condition. Prices are per bead. These are a steal at this price.

#BEADS0580 - Flying Duck Glass Intaglio
Vintage 20mm diameter convex reverse painted incised glass intaglio of a flying duck. They glass is super clear on these and the duck appears very dimensional. These are good quality West German glass from around the 1950s. We picked these up at one of our favorite haunts up in the northeast.

#BEADS0592 - 25mm Blue and White Very Old Czech Glass Cameo with Fish - As low as $1.50 each
Vintage 25mm (1.0") tall beveled edge glass cameo made from two pieces of glass. The upper piece is a highly detailed raised dimensional fish. Flat back. These are from around the 1920s. Box was marked "Adolf Meller Company" "Czechoslovakia". These are very uncommon. I haven't seen them offered anywhere else. Perfect condition under the dust. These are thick glass and very nice. We found these at an old warehouse up in the northeast.

You get 100 beads for $9 (that's 9¢ each) Vintage 8mm diameter translucent pink glass beads. They have their Made in Japan tag on them. There are about 100 beads on each strand. #BEADS0621 - Very Large 24mm Coral Matrix Glass Cabochon
Vintage large 24mm (1") long flat backed coral matrix glass cabochon. These are beautiful old Czech glass from around 1950. Coral Matrix was the name of the color on the package. They have a white and grey swirled base with red splashes floating in a clear layer on the surface.We found these in an old warehouse up in the northeast. Unsold old stock in excellent condition. Price is per button. Vintage 14mm diameter shiny chalk white glass buttons. The box is marked "PiecBlau Brand Made in Japan". They are good quality buttons. These Circa 1960. These are unsold old stock in excellent unused condition that we found in remote storage in a store up in the northeast.

#BEADS0716 - Strand of 110 Graduated 3mm - 8mm Cherry Brand Translucent White Glass Beads
Click the picture to see a larger more detaled image. You get 110 Beads for $2 (less than 2¢ each). Vintage temporary strand of graduated 3mm to 8mm Cherry Brand Japanese beads. They are a pretty tranlucent white glass. These are Cherry Brand (company only existed from 1946 - 1951). As you many know, Cherry Brand was considered the highest quality Japanese bead maker. This is a very fresh find we made from a dealer in New York who originally purchased them in the 1940s. These are very hard to find, very nice, and have never seen the light of day.

These are high quality chrome plate like the kind on a car bumper, and are nice looking. The backs are concave. Circa 1960s. These are unsold old stock that we found in remote storage in a store up in the northeast.

#BEADS0743 - 11mm Pink Glass Rauten Rose Rhinestone - As low as 25¢ each
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 11mm diameter pink Rauten Rose rhinestone with flat foil back. These were made in West Germany in the 1950s and are good quality. Rauten Roses, as they are called, sell for higher retail prices than most rhinestones because they are high quality stone with sharply cut facets. We found these on a recent trip to the northeast in a warehouse of vintage cabochons and beads that have not seen the light of day for many years.
