This catalog is dedicated to the memory of Zane Shaffer. He was a pioneer in this field who recently left us. A lot of you have likely crossed paths with him. He was, arguably, the largest dealer in our type of merchandise on the East Coast. His family sold us a large lot of his inventory with the hope that his items will find good homes with people who appreciate them. You will see a lot of them over the next year or so, and we will mark them as such. Here is a note from his family "Whether he was gettin' his road warrior on traveling to antique markets in places like Shupp's Grove or buying/selling online, he enjoyed every minute of it. He held a very special place in his heart for the people, the places, and 'the old things'. It's really good to know that his collection will reach all the folks that had the same passion about them. #BEADS0592 - 25mm Blue and White Very Old Czech Glass Cameo with Fish - As low as $1.50 each
Vintage 25mm (1.0") tall beveled edge glass cameo made from two pieces of glass. The upper piece is a highly detailed raised dimensional fish. Flat back. These are from around the 1920s. Box was marked "Adolf Meller Company" "Czechoslovakia". These are very uncommon. I haven't seen them offered anywhere else. Perfect condition under the dust. These are thick glass and very nice. We found these at an old warehouse up in the northeast.

#BEADS0595 - 18mm Deep Ruby Glass Pendant/Drop - As low as 15¢ each
Vintage beautiful 18mm long single hole deep transparent ruby glass drop. The hole is at the top of the narrow end. These were used to make earring drops or pendants. They were used for hatpin tops too. Raindrop shape all the way around. West German glass from around the 1950s. We found these at one of our favorite haunts up in the northeast.

#BEADS0605 - Strand of 100 Translucent Pink Glass Made in Japan Beads
You get 100 beads for $9 (that's 9¢ each) Vintage 8mm diameter translucent pink glass beads. They have their Made in Japan tag on them. There are about 100 beads on each strand. #BEADS0621 - Very Large 24mm Coral Matrix Glass Cabochon
Vintage large 24mm (1") long flat backed coral matrix glass cabochon. These are beautiful old Czech glass from around 1950. Coral Matrix was the name of the color on the package. They have a white and grey swirled base with red splashes floating in a clear layer on the surface.We found these in an old warehouse up in the northeast. Unsold old stock in excellent condition. Price is per button. Vintage 14mm diameter shiny chalk white glass buttons. The box is marked "PiecBlau Brand Made in Japan". They are good quality buttons. These Circa 1960. These are unsold old stock in excellent unused condition that we found in remote storage in a store up in the northeast.

#BEADS0716 - Strand of 110 Graduated 3mm - 8mm Cherry Brand Translucent White Glass Beads
Click the picture to see a larger more detaled image. You get 110 Beads for $2 (less than 2¢ each). Vintage temporary strand of graduated 3mm to 8mm Cherry Brand Japanese beads. They are a pretty tranlucent white glass. These are Cherry Brand (company only existed from 1946 - 1951). As you many know, Cherry Brand was considered the highest quality Japanese bead maker. This is a very fresh find we made from a dealer in New York who originally purchased them in the 1940s. These are very hard to find, very nice, and have never seen the light of day.

#BEADS0726 - Large Chromed Tin Cowboy Boots Metal Finding - As low as 25¢
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 1 5/8" tall large chromed tin cowboy boots finding. The fronts are heavily embossed as you can see in the picture. These are high quality chrome plate like the kind on a car bumper, and are nice looking. The backs are concave. Circa 1960s. These are unsold old stock that we found in remote storage in a store up in the northeast.

#BEADS0743 - 11mm Pink Glass Rauten Rose Rhinestone - As low as 25¢ each
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 11mm diameter pink Rauten Rose rhinestone with flat foil back. These were made in West Germany in the 1950s and are good quality. Rauten Roses, as they are called, sell for higher retail prices than most rhinestones because they are high quality stone with sharply cut facets. We found these on a recent trip to the northeast in a warehouse of vintage cabochons and beads that have not seen the light of day for many years.

#BEADS0759 - Large Round thick Wavy Surfaced 22mm Translucent Pink Glass Cabochon - Cherry Brand

They have a wavy three pointed surface with a flat back and are very thick. Japanese. These were in Cherry Brand packaging which is very high quality. The company only existed from 1946 - 1951, so they are from that time period. Unused perfect condition from original packing. We found these in an old warehouse up in the northeast.

These are from the 1950s. Perfect, never seen the light of day condition. We found these in an old warehouse up in the northeast.

#BEADS0862 - Strand of 24 Large Cherry Brand Glass 12mm Aquamarine Baroque (Dimpled) Glass Beads
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 24 Beads for $3.50 (14¢ each). Vintage temporary strand of fancy Cherry Brand Japanese Baroque beads. They are large heavy 12mm diameter solid colored aquamarine glass beads. The glass is very beautiful with dimples (they called it Baroque on the master case). These were made by hand using old techniques. The crude shapes and unusual dimple really enhance the look. These are 1940s Cherry Brand (company only existed from 1946 - 1951). As you may know, Cherry Brand was considered the highest quality Japanese bead maker. This is a very fresh find we made from a dealer in New York who originally purchased them in the 1940s. They are Czech and were imported around the 1950s. We found them in an old warehouse in the northeast. Excellent unused condition.

#CA511 - 1960s Bathtub Buggy by Barris Postcard
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 5 1/2" wide postcard with custom car maker, George Barris' Bathtub Buggy Car pictured. George created the car in the late 1960s and it was a huge hit. It toured the country along with a lot of his other cars. These are postcard size prints put out by model kit maker AMT. Excellent unused condition.

#CC289 - Pair of Coca Cola Postcards with Santa
You get the pair for $1.50 (that's 75¢ each). Vintage 6" tall full color postcards produced by Coca Cola in 1991 to honor some of their famous illustrations. The one of Santa with a train and set was a famous Haddon Sundblom painting that was released in Life magazine in 1962. The other was ad that appeared in National Geographic in 1950. The details are on the back of the postcards. These are licensed items produced under the authorization of Coca-Cola.  Excellent unused condition.
