In our never ending quest to bring you the odd and unusual....  We couldn't find these anywhere else on the internet. It's a cool find. Flat gold foil back. These were hard to get a good picture of, but they are very high quality. West German. They are from around 1950. Pretty much never seen the light of day perfect condition.   Optimist International was formed in 1911 as a benevolent organization that helped their local communities and considered themselves to have a positive outlook in the face of all problems. It is one of the few of the old time fraternal organizations that has survived over the years. They are now heavily involved in modern issues such as Childhood cancer campaigns and even an internet safety program to ward off online predators. Older memorabilia like this is hard to find, and there are a lot of collectors out there. This is from our latest treasure hunt! From a warehouse of cabachons and beads!
