They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame in 2010. In the earlier days, the band decided to replace singer Peter Gabriel. After a long unsuccessful search, they decided to let their drummer, Phil Collins do the singing. That's when the band took off. Oddly enough, Peter Gabriel did very well with a solo career. They won a grammy in 1988 for the Land of Confusion music video and have had 4 other nominations. They won the 1993 American Music Award for favorite Pop/Rock Band for We Can't dance and were nominated for several others. They had major hits including "Mama" "Taking it all too Hard" "Invisible Touch" "In the Air Tonight" and many others. This is one of a number of scarce passes we picked up recently from an old roadie. There aren't a large quantity of these. They were made blank backed.
Alanis Morissette has quietly won 7 Grammy Awards! Many of her songs have been in films and she is known as the "Queen of alt-rock angst".
Eddie Van Halen is widely regarded as a virtuoso guitarist and singers David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar were considered some of the best in the business. On the album "1984", "Jump" hit #1, and "Panama" and "I'll Wait" both went to the top 20. Following that, the released four number 1 albums over the following 11 years. That's quite a feat. Van Halen is the 19th best selling artist in the US of all times. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007. They have won numerous MTV awards, were nominated for four Grammys and won one for "Best Hard Rock Performance" in 1992.
Heart was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013. Heart is best known for their unusual combination of sisters. Ann Wilson was an incredible singer, but Nancy Wilson influenced generations of girls with her heavy hitting guitar playing. She was a real trail blazer/ There weren't many females playing like that before her. They were all over the radio stations and MTV for years with hits like "Crazy on You" "Magic Man" "Barracuda" "Heartless" "Dog and Butterfly", and quite a few more. This is one of a number of scarce passes we picked up recently from an old roadie. There aren't a large quantity of these.
