#SIGN006 - Cardboard Store Sign for Big Bag of Onions Vintage 14" wide cardboard sign with an onion lady with a snap purse pointing to the words "Buy the Big Bag for Economy". They were meant to be used in the onion section of the store and the price would be written in the space to the right of the onion lady. They came from the basement of a large store in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania called Trimble's. They apparently got signs with their deliveries quite often and threw them in piles in the basement. One of our long time customers rescued these (thank's Bob) and a number of others. They were never used, and are in excellent condition except for very minor aging. These are from the mid 1950s (some of the materials with them were dated). $2.50
