You mixed it with a spoonful of flour and cold water. Says that the price was 25¢ and could be used to substitute for 48 eggs which at that time would have cost $1 - $2 (eggs were only 25¢ - 50¢/dozen back then!). Circa 1910s. Unused stock that was found in storage at the Lincoln Chemical Works in Chicago, Illinois a long time ago. $1.50
