#Cards195 - Pacific Ocean Park 1¢ Arcade Card with both Hopalong Cassidy and Gene Autry

This is a very rare Ocean Park Penny Arcade 4 in 1 card featuring William Boyd (Hopalong Cassidy) on the upper left and Gene Autry on the lower left. Both have signatures. Jack Randall and Rod Cameron are also pictured. Excellent unused condition. Ocean Park was built in Santa Monica, CA in 1958 and closed in 1967. It was a very large park that was built to compete with Disneyland. However, city planners, in an effort to renew the area, demolished buildings and closed streets all around the park so people couldn't find there way in. Even though it was a huge park, it was forced to close it's doors and the contents were auctioned off in 1968. These cards are marked "Pacific Ocean Park Arcade 1¢" on the front and have a postcard back.

#BEADS0593 - Large 28mm Black and Gold Glass Intaglio Featuring a Harness Race - As low as $1 each

Vintage 28mm (1.1") wide intaglio. The gold backed glass with reverse painted incised black color give these a 3D image. Flat back. This is the older German (Not West German) type. They were imported by Ginsburg in New York sometime between 1946 and 1948. Perfect condition. They picture a man with a whip seated in a harness racer and the horse. There is also a flag showing they are just crossing the finish line. Very few of these have ever been found in perfect condition, but here they are. The depth effect in the picture is excellent. We found these at one of our favorite haunts up in the northeast.

#CH441 - Group of 2 Dirty Harry Inspector Wallets with Metal Identification Badge

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get two for $5 (that's $2.50 each). Vintage 4" wide vinyl wallet opens to show a metal badge that says "Police Inspector 2211". It also has a laminated ID card that pictures Dirty Harry and says "Harry Callahan Inspector 2211" "Expires 1970". The movie was made in 1971, so these are from around that time period. We found them in remote storage in a warehouse way up north. Excellent unused condition. The window the laminated ID is behind (the ID can be taken out) has an impression of the badge on it where the badge has sat against it all these years. If you rub it real good with a wet napkin, it will clear up.

##MUSICBP2112 - Pair of Rare B. B. King OTTO Cloth All Access Pass from the 1997 Deuces Wild Tour

Click the picture to see a large detailed image picturing both sides of the pass. These passes were in use during B.B. King's (Vocals and Guitar) time. King passed in 2015 (1925-2015). Did you know that as a child, B.B. was not allowed to sing blues music because his mother called it the "devil's music"? Sidney Seidenberg on the backside of the passes was B.B. King's manager for this tour. You get the pair pictured for $4.00 (that's $2.00 each).

#MSH046 - Pair of Mechanical Mini Ash Tray/Hippie Stash Boxes in Original Boxes - Do Not Exhale

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image (the illustrated box and device are both pictured). You get 2 for $5 (that's $2.50 each). These are a real piece of hippie history. Vintage colorful 2 3/8" tall box. The ashtray/stash box and the device inside say "Notice to Smokers" "If you must smoke, do not exhale". This is a slogan that was common back in the day. It is not quite what it sounds like. It was about holding your breath when you smoked a joint. They picture a guy with a headband smoking a very large pipe. The device inside has a spring loaded cigarette/joint holder that pops out when you open it. It is a tin box that you could use as an ash tray or for joint storage. "Made in Hong Kong". These were sold as novelties and in head shops all over the country in the late 1960s into the early 1970s when stash boxes were all the rage. We found these at an old novelty distributorship in northern Ohio. Excellent unused condition. There were nine different variations (Cigarettes, Cars, Novelty) that we will be offering in this and future catalogs. They would make a really interesting collection.
