These are African powder beads (sand cast beads) from broken strands. They are from the around the 1920s and run from about 7mm to 15mm in diameter. They were made from ground glass ballast from ships. I did notice a clay one here and there too. These were used as currency and decoration in Ghana. A friend brought these to this country many years ago. They are in typical used condition. All sorts of different types and styles. You will get a mix similar to the picture.
