#MS168 - 1907 Victorian Print - New York Show Girl Broadway
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 1907 (dated) 12 3/4" tall stone lithograph print on thin cardboard. The bottom is marked "New York Show Girl - Broadway". My understanding is that this was a print of Adele Richie who was the prima donna of comic opera around this time period. She is also known for the murder suicide which ended her life in 1930. Marked "The Gray Litho Co. NY." Illustrated by Maud Stumm with her signature mark. These have quite a history. They are unused old stock that was originally uncovered in a San Francisco commercial building. They were donated to a museum that wanted to sell them to raise funds for a monument dedicated to Eleanor Roosevelt, but, the museum owner passed away. Now, they are here. Excellent condition. These are incredibly beautiful.

#ZLSC101 - El Briche Inner Cigar Box Label
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 9 1/4" wide circa 1900s heavily embossed and gilded inner cigar box label. Says "El Briche The Mild Cigar". Detailed image of a woman in a field holding out cigar leaves for a man in a panama hat. We acquired these from a long time label dealer on the west coast that we bought out. Excellent unused condition.

#SIGN119 - Rare Early F.O.E. Paper Flag (no pin or toothpick) - As Low As 25¢

Vintage 4 1/8" wide paper flags that folded over a pin or toothpick to make a little flag. The Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.) was founded in 1898. These are very early and came out of a factory that made silks and flags many years ago. Based on the master boxes, I'd say they are from the early 1900s. As far as we can tell, these are the only examples known. These are in amazing condition for their age, and other than slight paper aging, these are perfect. There are rare.

The paper has deep and wide diagonal embossed lines. This was a benevolent fraternal organization that was formed in 1879 and still exists. The flags are paper with some aging, and the pins have a little light rust, but these are in amazing condition for their age. These are very rare.

#ZLCA198 - Rare Westwood Tomatoes Can Label - Golfer
Vintage 11 1/4" wide Westwood Tomatoes can label. Click the picture to see a large version of the full label. Rare label. Heavily embossed gilded stone litho pictures a golfer at the country club. There is some irony in this label. The date code on them is 1932 meaning they were made during the height of the Great Depression which was not a good time for the country clubs. Marked "General Grocer CO. Distributors St. Louis, MO.". Excellent unused condition. We got these from the estate of the famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist.
$7.50

#ZLCA210 - Uncommon Turn of the Century Price's Tomatoes Can Label - Bear Hunt Image
Click on the image to see the complete label. Large 14" wide Price's Brand Tomatoes can label. These are very early (circa 1900) chromolithos. These are from before the day when you were required to list the weight of the can. The image in the middle is a castle. On the right side is a cowboy with gun on his horse and a black bear which was his shot of the day. Excellent unused condition. These are very uncommon and very detailed. A friend of ours was kind enough to share the find of these. They are in excellent condition.

#ZLCA219 - Super Rare Large Full Size National League Perfectos Cigar Can Label
Vintage 14" wide National League Hand Made Perfectos Cigar Can Label. This is an interesting label. My friend Steve Litchford found these at the plant in Indiana many years ago. Most were damaged, and cut down to a smaller size by dealers. Almost all of the others you will find out there are the cut down versions. They are supposed to be 14" wide. These are the super rare complete 14" wide uncut ones. Circa 1900 with a picture of a baseball. I don't think there are any others like this out there. Most have some minor light staining or edge bites. We are almost out of the National League ones, so time to pull out the American Leagues. We got these from the estate of the famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist.
$7.50

#ZZZ086 - Early and Very Rare Eisemann Barber Supply Letterhead
Vintage 8 1/2" wide unused letterhead. Fantastic image of the old barber chair. Every barbershop collector needs one of these. Click the picture to see a larger version of the old barber chair. They were found with some Eisemann labels which you will find elsewhere in this catalog that all date from around 1900 - 1910. These are about the same age. As you would expect, the paper shows some minor paper aging. Phil Eisemann was one of the premier barber suppliers in the country in the early 1900s. Eisemann signs and bottles are high dollar items for the collector. This letterhead is extremely rare. We bought the lot from a collector who had bought them with a bunch of high end Eisemann's signs.

Vintage 5 1/2" tall Order of United Commercial Travelers silk. The Order of United Commerical Travelers was formed in January of 1888 at the Neil House in Columbus, Ohio to provide a society for traveling salesmen, or commercial travelers. These are very early and came out of a factory that made silks and flags many years ago. Based on the master box, I'd say they are from the early 1900s. As far as we can tell, these are the only examples known.  They say "U.C.T." and have the society logo on them. They are made from the same cloth as cigarette silks, but are larger. They may have been hung on wooden sticks as flags. There was not a big bunch of these found and we have all of them, so we would suggest ordering early as they likely won't be around long. They are not bright white anymore, but are in excellent unused condition. Nice pieces.

#ZBOT044 - Early Cinderella Face Beautifier Label
4 1/2" wide vintage early 1900's Cinderella Face Beautifier label. Unused old factory stock from the Dr. Blumer's plant in Chicago. Excellent condition. Two things of note. These labels do not have a size or weight listed which was required by law after around 1910, meaning they were made before that time. Also, the Cinderella story has a really interesting history. It dates all the way back to China in the 9th century. It became popular all over the world in the late 1850s when it was retold by the Grimm brothers. It made another comeback on stage in the late 1800s and was repopularized again by Disney around 1950.
