#CE167 - Yellow Globe Danvers Onion Card Seed Packet
Click the picture to see a larger more details image. Vintage 4 1/2" tall Card Seed Co. Yellow Globe Danvers Onion seed packet. Pretty stone litho. These were found in a barn in storage in upstate New York where they had been sitting unfilled since around 1920. Packets are empty and in excellent unused condition.

#TOBACCO078 - Group of 4 Nelson's Fine Cigar Clippings Bag - Norwich, NY

Vintage 7" tall paper bag that says "Nelson's Fine Cigar Clippings" "Put up in Union Factory Not Trust Goods". There was also a certificate of registry with them showing they were made in 1929 at the plant in Norwich, NY. They are in excellent unused condition.

#BEADS0955 - One Dozen Large Thick Unusual Shaped 22mm White Pre War Japan Beads

These are old pre war Japan stock. Likely 1920/30s. They are unsold old stock in excellent unused condition that we found in remote storage in a store up in the northeast.

#BEADS0965 - Group of 20 Multifaceted 8mm Amber Glass Beads

#CE160 - Scarce Hubbard Squash Card Seed Packet
Click the picture to see a larger more details image. Vintage 4 1/2" tall Card Seed Co. Habbard Squash seed packet. This is one of the prettiest and most desirable Card Seed packets. These were found in a barn in storage in upstate New York where they had been sitting unfilled since around 1920. Packets are empty and in excellent unused condition.

#BEADS0152 - Large Black Round Incised Handmade (Lampwork) Bead
Price is 25¢/bead. Vintage very large jet black handmade bead. They have a spiral incised on the surface. The size varies. Average size is nearly inch and a quarter in diameter, plus they are over a half inch thick. Because they were handmade (also known as lampwork beads), no two are alike. These are very uncommon. They were in a crate with made in Japan glass, so that would be our best guess. They are from the 1960s, or more likely, earlier. They are a bit dirty. Just rinse them off in water and they are in new unused condition.

They are in unused condition, and striking. Like most of the others in this find, so far as we can tell, there are no other examples of these to be found anywhere online, or anywhere else period. They were sold as hippie beads in the late 60s from a bead store near the Haight Ashbury area.

#DC265 - Group of 4 Very Early City Dairy Cottage Cheese Bottle Caps
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 4 for $1 (that's 25¢ each). Super rare. Vintage large 57mm diameter cottage cheese bottle caps. Marked "City Dairy 2 oz. Creemed Cottage Cheese" "Kenton, Ohio". Also marked with patent dates. The last one is May 30, 1922. This style of cap was used in the 1920s and so they are from around that time period. They are unused and will show typical paper aging, but are in good shape. These came from an old collection we recently purchased.

#UPaper068 - Group of 12 Schneller's Eye Salve and Eye Water Brochures
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 12 for $1.80 (that's 15¢ each). 10 3/4" wide brochure telling about Schneller's Eye Salve and Eye Water products. They were never folded. You can fold them up if you like. This was literature that was put in product boxes and is old stock that was never used from the 1920s or earlier. Nice image of the Schneller Sanitary Bottle and Dropper. Talks about how safe and effective these products were. One of the ingredients listed in the Eye Salve was Mercury which is very toxic, but......  every bottle was guaranteed. Writing on both sides. Excellent unused condition.

Also has advertising in it for razor hones (sharpening stones). Neat little brochure with all kinds of razor related information. Unused old factory stock in great condition.

#BEADS0938 - Very Old Embossed and Painted German Wooden Button Variant - As low as 30¢
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 22mm (nearly and inch) in diameter dark brown painted wooden button. The design is embossed into the wood. Then they were painted. Backs are flat. The design is different than the other type we have listed (this is a variant). The boxes we found these in were marked Germany and looked to be from around 1920. Excellent unused condition.

#DC235 - Edward Oyster & Sons Jersey Milk Bottle Cap - Alliance, OH
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 42mm diameter milk bottle cap from the Edward Oyster &  Son Dairy in Alliance, Ohio. This is a very old type with no staples. Circa 1920 or earlier. Printing is off center on every on, but they are otherwise in excellent unused condition. They came from the estate of the late Larry "The Bottleman" Johnson, who was a friend. Larry was a picker his whole life, and he will be missed by the antique community.

#DC124 - Early Chocolate Milk Bottle Cap Picturing a Boy in Knickers
Vintage 42mm (1.7") diameter chocolate milk bottle cap. This is a very uncommon chocolate milk bottle cap from the 1920s when "knickers" were all the rage. They have a large image of a boy in knickerbockers drinking a bottle of chocolate milk, and are in excellent unused condition . They came from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist, who had one of the best milk bottle cap collections in the country.

#UPaper194 - Group of 2 Pen-Jel Brochures with Jelly Recipes
Click the picture to see a large version of the image in detail. You get 2 for $1 (that's 50¢ each). Vintage 11" wide (when opened - 3" tall when folded together) 20 panel brochure. The side pictured tells about the product and how to use it to make jelly and jam. The reverse has nine recipes. These were found with the full Pen-Jel boxes which are a separate listing in this catalog. They are from 1928. We acquired these from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast. Never used. They show typical paper aging.

#BEADS0592 - 25mm Blue and White Very Old Czech Glass Cameo with Fish - As low as $1.50 each
Vintage 25mm (1.0") tall beveled edge glass cameo made from two pieces of glass. The upper piece is a highly detailed raised dimensional fish. Flat back. These are from around the 1920s. Box was marked "Adolf Meller Company" "Czechoslovakia". These are very uncommon. I haven't seen them offered anywhere else. Perfect condition under the dust. These are thick glass and very nice. We found these at an old warehouse up in the northeast.

#BEADS0905 - Group of 4 Sapphire Color Swarovski 8mm Rhinestones

The package they were in (pictured) says "Square shape Sapphire Foiled" "K. S. & Co" "Austria", and pictures the edelweiss flower Swarovski trade mark logo. Circa 1920s. We found these in an old store up in the Northeast. Excellent unused condition.

#BEADS0572 - Group of 20 Four Hole Beads from the Roaring 20s

As you can see in the picture, they were made to be strung with two strings through them. They are very old and slightly crude. When the stock market crashed in the 1920s, most businesses went under. These are left from those times. They are are unsold old stock from an old warehouse up in the northeast we recently visited. Excellent unused condition. Prices are per bead.

#TOBACCO014 - Buck Wheat Bright Tobacco Bag
Vintage 5 1/4" tall bag that says Buck Wheat Bright Fine-Cut Scotten, Dillon Company Detroit, MI. This is part of the items that came out of the Scotten Dillon warehouse a number of years ago. This is not a real common one and they are in excellent condition. Circa 1920s. These were bags that Scotten Dillon would supply tobacco bag stores with to put tobacco in when they sold it.

#TY781 - Small very old Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Merchandise Sticker/Label
Vintage1 3/4 wide foil sticker that says "RIngling Bros. Barnum Bailey Combined Circus". These are from around the 1920s and we used on Circus merchandise. These are unused old stock in excellent condition. These are very uncommon.
