Vintage temporary strand of fancy Cherry Brand Japanese beads. They are large heavy 14mm diameter dimpled alabaster glass beads. These are from broken temporary strands and there will be between 26 and 30 in perfect condition in each bag. They were made by hand using old techniques. The crude shapes really enhance the look. These are 1940s Cherry Brand (company only existed from 1946 - 1951). As you may know, Cherry Brand was considered the highest quality Japanese bead maker. This is a very fresh find we made from a dealer in New York who originally purchased them in the 1940s. These are very hard to find, very nice, and have never seen the light of day. Click on the image to see a larger picture with more detail. $4.42 -+
