He has 26 American Music Awards which is more than anyone else including the "Artist of the Century Award". He is also the most downloaded artist of all time. In spite of being tried and acquitted and found not guilty on all counts multiple times, the stigma of being accused of being a sexual predator stayed with him. A lot of people don't realize he was married twice. The first time to Elvis' daughter Lisa Marie Presley and the second time to his long time friend Deboray Jeanne Rowe. They had a couple of kids. The pressure of such stardom was horrendous. He had a doctor administer a paralytic called Deprivan to take away the world at night when he slept till the fatal overdose on June 25th, 2009.
