##MUSICBQ0232 - 1989 The Who Licensed Pinback Button from "Button-Up"

Vintage colorful picture of album cover for the Who's Quadrophenia album. Marked "Copyright 1989 P.P.M.C. (the mark that is common on a lot of Who licensed merchandise)" around the rim, and from the late 1980s. It also says "Button-Up Co. 2011 Austin" (Please note - 2011 Austin Drive, Troy MI was their address, and the "2011" is often mistaken for the date - they are substantially older than that). These licensed types are very scarce, yet easy to identify by the licensing info on the side of the button. Most of the musical pinbacks that you see for sale on Ebay or other online sites are reproductions. These licensed types retail for much higher prices. They are unused, and we uncovered them very recently in an old vending warehouse here locally.
