This cloth backstage pass is from Chicago's Hearts in Trouble Tour. The front of the pass includes the band and tour name, and "VIP". The OTTO Manufacturing mark is on the front and back of the pass. The pass is 4-3/4" high.

This cloth backstage pass is from the concert on September 12th at Veterans Memorial Coliseum during Bon Jovi's New Jersey Syndicate Tour and Skid Row's self titled Skid Row Tour. The front of the pass includes an image of Jon Bon Jovi, concert and radio station information and a "TeenLink" logo. The back of the the pass is an advertisement for TeenLink and the OTTO Manufacturing mark. The pass is 3-1/4" square.

It went to court, and incredibly, the legalities of the situation prevented them from creating new music till nearly 10 years later when they resurged with a number of other songs you've probably heard.

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image of both sides of the pass. Vintage 4 3/4" tall Fasson (manufacturer) cloth "Backstage" backstage pass from the 1991 Beach Boys Surf Don't Surf Tour.

"Don't Surf" is a reference that was used in reference to Charlie Manson. Charles Manson had a brief relationship with Beach Boy's drummer Dennis Wilson during the summer of 1968. The Manson family temporarily lived with him. A little known fact is that The Beach Boys even recorded a version of a song written by Charles Manson. "Don't Surf" was a popular logo on Manson T-shirts. Uncommon and in excellent unused condition. These came from the estate of the late Gary Nichamin. He worked for most of his career as the main photographer, graphics designer, and stage manager for the Beach Boys. He not only designed most of their passes, but also was in charge of issuing them at the concerts.
