More beer was sold from Cincinnati breweries than anywhere in the world, and it was widely claimed to be the best in the world. In 1882, a company in Canada started making what they called Cincinnati Cream beer to capitalize on the phenomena. They supposedly copied the beer recipe from a Cincinnati company whose name they would not divulge. Apparently it worked as they were in business for a long long time. Around the 1970s, the beer was imported back in the U.S. because of it's popularity in Canada. These are from that time period.
