This catalog is dedicated to the memory of Zane Shaffer. He was a pioneer in this field who recently left us. A lot of you have likely crossed paths with him. He was, arguably, the largest dealer in our type of merchandise on the East Coast. His family sold us a large lot of his inventory with the hope that his items will find good homes with people who appreciate them. You will see a lot of them over the next year or so, and we will mark them as such. Here is a note from his family "Whether he was gettin' his road warrior on traveling to antique markets in places like Shupp's Grove or buying/selling online, he enjoyed every minute of it. He held a very special place in his heart for the people, the places, and 'the old things'. It's really good to know that his collection will reach all the folks that had the same passion about them. We truly hope you enjoy them as much as he did."

#CH356 - Group of 12 Orion Pictures Licensed RoboCop Foil Decals for Bikes & Trikes
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 12 for $6 (that's 50¢ each). Vintage 8 1/2" tall sheet of decals in original cellophane package. These were made for the popular 1987 RoboCop movie and all have Orion Pictures copyright marks. There are seven different decals. The package says "Durable Foil Decals for Bicycles & Tricycles" "Rand International, LTD" "Orion Pictures Corporation". Excellent unused condition, Unsold old warehouse stock we picked up on the East Coast.

#CH412 - Licensed Dennis the Menace Waxed Happy Birthday Cup
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 3 3/4" tall waxed cup picturing Dennis the Menace and the gang in bright colors. Says "Happy Birthday", and is marked "Copyright Hank Ketchum Enterprises, Inc." Circa 1970s. These are surprisingly uncommon. They came from a cache of toys from a large distributorship that got hung up in bankruptcy in New York City many years ago, and are in perfect condition. We dug these out of the warehouse they ended up in.

#CH461  - Ace Ventura Pet Detective Book - Jim Carrey

And of course, there are lots of Jim Carrey pictures. Marked "A bullseye book Random House" "Copyright 1995". We found these in an old warehouse way up north. Unused old stock in excellent condition.

These are old factory stock that were never filled. They are in excellent condition and will be folded flat. Found at the long abandoned Lincoln Chemical Works in Chicago, IL.

#CS417 - Full Gunston Hall Pure Ground Ginger Spice Tin

Marked "Janney-Marshall Co., Inc. Fredericksburg, VA.". Circa 1950s. We acquired these from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast. Excellent condition with a little minor age crazing.

#DA023 - Paper Milk Bottle Carrier
Including the handle, these are a full 13" tall. They fold open and and were made to hold two quart milk bottles. Says "Half Gallon - Enjoy the convenience of two single containers". Neat graphics. Unused dairy stock from the 1950s. Nice condition. We had a bunch of these a lot of years ago and they sold really well at shows when we put them out with a couple of quart milk bottles in them.

Vintage 1 5/8" diameter milk bottle cap picturing a green shield. They say "Ray's Dairy Golden Premium Pasteurized" 4 digit phone number. These are unused old stock from the dairy. Circa 1940. Great condition.

#DC225 - Scarce John F. Kennedy Milk Bottle Cap
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 34mm diameter milk cap. Says "John F. Kennedy Our 35th President 1961 - 1963". They were never used, but show some staple rust (the one in the picture is typical). This is a hard one to find to complete the set. They came from the estate of the late Larry "The Bottleman" Johnson, who was a friend. Larry was a picker his whole life, and he will be missed by the antique community.

#HH209 - Huge Diecut Mechanical Valentine with Roller Skating Girl and Dog - Original Envelope
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage huge 9" tall diecut mechanical valentine that features an a roller skating girl falling and her dog. The dog swivels on a brass grommet. Nice condition. Very period image. The picture is set against the original envelope which is included.  From a long closed factory that made them in the 1950s. Includes original envelope. Very colorful. These days it will cost you $5 to buy a new good quality oversize card with the envelope like this. These are a real bargain.

NY." Illustrated by Maud Stumm with her signature mark. These are unused old stock that were donated to a museum that consequently went out of business and sold them! Excellent condition. These are incredibly beautiful.

#MS202 - 1908 Victorian Print - Lady in Hat with Large Red Carnations

Vintage 1908 (dated) 12 3/4" tall stone lithograph print on thin cardboard featuring a lady with a hat full of large red carnations and a carnation bouquet. Marked "Copyright 1908 The Gray Litho Co. NY." These have quite a history. They are unused old stock that was originally uncovered in a San Francisco commercial building. They were donated to a museum that wanted to sell them to raise funds for a monument dedicated to Eleanor Roosevelt, but, the museum owner passed away. Now, they are here. Excellent condition. These are incredibly beautiful.

#MS268 - 1960s Martian Spider Car Print - Jay Ohrberg
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage late 1960s 10 1/4" wide thin cardboard print picturing the famous Martian Spider Car. It was built by Jay Ohrberg (famous for building many cars for movies - KITT from Nightrider and the DeLorien in Back to the future, and the Pink Panther TV series car to name a few). The reverse pictures mostly Reisner cars in black and white, and tells you how to get official show car decals. These are high quality prints that were produced around 1969, and are in excellent unused condition.

#MS296 - Super Kash Gambling Packets
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 41/2" tall sealed paper envelope packet says "Super Kash 84 Winners 7 tickets 25¢" etc.. Each one contains 7 numbered tickets and some were winners. These were sold at bars all over the country back in the day before they were outlawed as illegal gambling. These are from the 1940s (WWII era) and have a guy pictured counting his money in patriotic red, white, and blue colors.  Unused stock that probably got stored away when they became illegal.

#PC093 - Delights Assorted Chews Candy Box - As low as $2.50 each
Vintage 3" tall Wrigley's Doublemint Gum Wrapper. These were used, and then sent in for redemption for premiums back in the 1930s. They are in used condition as you might expect and show wear and tears. These came from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist.

These are from around the 1930s and are old unused factory stock in excellent condition. The price and zone marking would date these to the 1950s. They are old unused factory stock in excellent condition. They may show a minor crease here or there from sitting all these years.

#PL056 - Pewter Colored  Jimmy Carter Fob
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 1 3/4" tall heavy metal Jimmy Carter fob that says "Leaders for a Change January 20, 1977 Our 39th President Carter". They were found in their original shipping case and are in excellent condition. They were commissioned by AAA novelty in Washington D.C. to a company in Taiwan. AAA imported them in 1977 and distributed them through novelty stores in various parts of the country. They are made of a heavy pewter colored metal, and are surprisingly high quality.
