They are quite large at 5 feet wide when full opened. The letters are all diecut as is the birthday cake. The printing is very good quality on cardboard. Each letter is attached to the next with a metal grommet so they can swivel and easily be folded away. This is much better quality and graphics than you see on the kinds they make these days for much higher prices! These are still useful. Marked "Happy Birthday Banner" "Japan". There is a "Japan" mark on the birthday cake in the banner too. They are from around 1950 and very very nice. This is a very recent find. They are in excellent unused condition. $1.50 -+
