#BF240 - Rare Knickerbocker Beer Cork Lined Bottle Cap - Used condition
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. This is a very storied company, and the caps are rare in any condition. These are used as shown in the picture. Marked "Knickerbocker Jacob Rupert, New York, N.Y." Great image of a Benjamin Franklin looking character. The side is marked "Pennsylvania Malt Beverage Tax Paid" "One Pint or Less". Jacob Rupert (General Manager of the Brewery with his name on the cap) was a very famous person. He is best known for owning the New York Highlanders baseball team which he purchased, changed the name to the New York Yankees, and owned from 1915 - 1939. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2013. He also served four terms in the United States House of Representatives. The Pennsylvania malt tax plus the Jacob Rupert name dates them to the mid to late 1930s.

#BGTransport503 - 1960s Calico Surfer Postcard Print - George Barris - As low as $1.50 each
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 5 1/2" wide postcard with custom car maker, George Barris' Calico Surfer Car pictured. George created this famous car in 1964 and it was exhibited at car shows all across the nation for years. These are postcard size prints put out by model kit maker AMT who made a model of this car in 1965. The back tells all about the car and how it was made. Excellent unused condition.

#CC223 - Group of 12 Coca Cola 75th Anniversary Belt Buckle Bottle Opener and Iron-On Patch Carton Insert Offers
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image of both sides of the insert. Vintage 8 1/4" tall carton insert signs that went in the front of cartons of Coke. You get 12 for $6 (that's 50¢ each). These are really nice. They are full color and picture a patch and a very fancy pewter type Coca Cola belt buckle both marked for the 75th anniversary. You could send away and get both. The reverse tells you how to do it by sending in 12 proof of purchase crown liners with three bucks. Says the offer expired on December 31st, 1976. These are not very common. We just bought part of a huge collection of Coke items. These were part of the lot. The fellow that had this stuff is a friend who searched old bottling plants and hauled most of this stuff out many years ago. They are in excellent unused condition.

Vintage 9 1/2" tall Coca Cola bottle hanger that says "Watch Coca Cola Big TV" "Coca Cola gives you a behind the scene look at Super Bowl XXVII" "Your backstage pass to the biggest and best Super Bowl ever". Then it lists times to watch. They have a slot on the top to attach to a bottle. These are old unused stock found in a Coke plant in excellent unused condition.

#CH326-20 - Gene Autry The Big Sombrero Poster/Broadside
Vintage 13" tall paper movie poster/broadside from the 1949 movie "The Big Sombrero" starring Gene Autry and "His Famous Horse Champion". This was a popular movie back in the day. Please click the picture to see a more detailed image. Back in the day, when a new movie was going to play at the local theatre, there would be a guy who would run around town tacking these things on bulletin boards, telephone poles, fence posts, or anyplace else where they might be seen. Because most were outdoors, few have survived. Some will have small edge tears or roughness, but this is true of all paper movie broadsides, and they can easily be trimmed for framing. Although, a few small imperfections kind of adds to the look with these. Colors vary. We got them from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist. He found them in the storage area of an old theatre up in Northeast Ohio.

Vintage 2 3/4" tall soap holder says "Garfield Copyright 1978 UFS" and pictures Garfield, Odie, and Arlene. Factory shrink wrapped to it, on the reverse, is a bar of soap that pictures Garfield and Odie and says "Kid Care Garfield Mini Soap". Circa 1980s. They came from a long closed warehouse in the Chicago area. We uncovered them very recently. Excellent unused condition. NO FOREIGN ORDERS ON THIS ONE.

#CH595 - Marvel Comics Fancy X-Men Paperback - Cyclops and Phoenix

X-Men is, of course, one of the most famous super hero sagas of all time. They are marked "Copyright 1995 by Marvel Entertainment Group" "First Sprinter Edition October 1995". Prices are already rising on this one and it isn't real common. To me, this is an investment grade 1st edition. They came from a long closed warehouse in the Chicago area. We uncovered them very recently. Grab them while you can at this kind of price. Excellent unused condition. NO FOREIGN ORDERS ON THIS ONE.
