#CS480 - WWII Era Full Box of Astor Brand Pure Whole Allspice
Vintage 4" tall full box of Astor Allspice. Says "Astor Pure Whole Allspice" "B. Fischer Co., Inc. New York, N. Y.". These are from the 1940s when there was a metal shortage during WWII. Afterwards, the company returned to using a tin and then plastic design. These are in spectacular excellent unused condition. We acquired them from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast.
