#TM104 - Full Oversize Unused Pack Front Cover Striker Detroit Metal Spinning Co. Match Pack

Vintage unused large 3" wide pack of front cover striker Detroit Metal Spinning Co. matches with 40 matches. These are from around 1950, and are from Detroit, MI. Perfect unused condition other than very slight typical rust on the staples. They came from the estate of the late Larry "The Bottleman" Johnson, who was a friend. Larry was a picker his whole life, and he will be missed by the antique community.

The center pictures an old time phone. There is a tab on the side you can flip out to show 10 cardboard sheets you could write phone numbers on. Classic 1960s with mod colors and numbers. We found these in remote storage in a store way up north.

Eight cards and one sticker picturing leaders, and soldiers and other related things. Yep, hard to believe but it has been 26 years ago. These are nice cards of historical interest. #CC120 - Coca Cola It's the Real Thing Basketball Sports Program
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 15 1/2" wide Coca Cola high school sports programs. They say "It's the Real Thing" which was part of the introduction of the new dynamic contour logo in 1969. So, they are from around there or perhaps the early 70s. They picture different referee signals at the bottom and picture artist drawn basketball players on the front. There is also space where the local high school could print the game lineup and other info. Unused stock from an old Coke plant in great condition.

Marked "Jack Sprat Quality Foods Distributed by Sales Producers Associates, Inc. Chicago, Illinois". Nice image of the nursery rhyme  character Jack Sprat. These were store bags they used to fill with items like coffee or produce back around the 1930s. Excellent unused condition. Old store stock.

#SIGN128 - Group of 6 Heavily Embossed Fancy Metal Emblems/Signs from a Buff Transit (Surveyor's Telescope)
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 6 for $30 (that's $5 each). Vintage 4" tall heavily embossed metal emblem/sign that went on a Buff transit. Super nice. They are very detailed. The embossing is so deep that they look three dimensional. You can see all the bolts and parts on the telescope pictured. The backs have two copper wires that were used to attach them to the transits (surveyor's tripod). Circa 1930s and still unused in their original envelopes. Excellent condition. They came from the estate of the famous dealer and friend, Bob Secrist.

#TY404 - Wooden Top in Original Package
Vintage 2 3/4" tall wooden top with metal tip. Painted red, white, and blue, and in the original package. The string is in there too with a wooden disc to hold between your fingers. The header is marked "Japan". Old store stock in unused condition from the 1950s. These are in excellent condition with a few very light header bends.

#TY423 - Brittle Hard Plastic Duck Baby Rattle
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage little 1 3/8" wide hard plastic, hand painted baby rattle shaped like a duck. This type of brittle hard plastic was outlawed years ago because of the hazard from a child biting it and getting cut, so these should only be sold as collectibles. These are old store stock in excellent unused condition from around 1960. Colors vary.

#TY607 - Race to the Moon Pocket Games
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage little 1 1/8" square game board says "Moon" and "Blast Off" and has holes for the two tiny plastic rockets the players used. They are in header bags with the moon and rockets pictured on the front and directions for how to play the game on the back. We found these in near perfect condition in the remote storage area of a store in northern Ohio. They are from the late 1960s when the moon race was on. They are unsold old stock from back in the day.

#TY740  - Group of 12 different "Japan" Clickers
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 12 different for $10 (that's 83¢ each). Vintage brightly colored 2 1/4" tall tin litho clickers marked Japan. Unsold never seen the light of day old store stock in great condition. These are from the 1960s. There are some great ones in here including one that is a lion smoking a pipe, and one that is a rabbit in a space outfit. These were common themes of the day in the late 60s.  There's even a lion with a baseball cap and baseball that I can only guess is a  Detroit Lion reference. Clickers have become nearly impossible to find at this kind of price. We are proud to offer them. They are really nice.

#ZZZ185 -Group of 12 Large Sterilization Bags - 1950s Nurse Pictured

Vintage large 8 1/4" tall bags say "Sterilized for your Protection" "The Recognized Sign of Cleanliness Everywhere". Great image of nurse with a cross behind her. Classic mid 1950s nurse hat and hairdo. These were used by hospitals and doctors offices back in those days. Unused stock in excellent condition. We acquired these from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast.

#BEADS0020 - 8mm Cobalt Glass Japanese Millefiori Flower Bead
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 8mm Cobalt Glass Japanese Millefiori Flower Bead. The word "Millefiori" is Italian and means 1000 flowers. To make these flower patterns on the beads is labor intensive and requires hand cutting a hot cane of glass that has been patterned. These are unsold old stock from a warehouse on the West Coast. They are made in Japan and were imported in the late 1960s during the flower power hippie craze. They are all handmade and so the sizes will vary a little and they may not all be perfectly round.

#BEADS0519 - 18mm Luminescent Glass and Plastic Cameo Featuring a Warrior - As low as 75¢ each
Vintage 18mm (.7") tall oval cameo made from two pieces. The back piece is beveled plastic. They front piece is luminescent green glass. Flat back. West German. These are unusual and very attractive. They are from the 1960s and are very uncommon. Perfect condition.

This is from our latest treasure hunt! From a warehouse of cabachons and beads! All were in original packaging. All are 50 - 90 years old.

Vintage 9" when folded open super colorful Nehi coupon brochure. The bottles in the pictures have paper labels dating them to the 1940s. The top section is a coupon offering a quart of Nehi for a penny with the purchase of two more. Period picture of a party scene with a mom and dad in a bow tie pouring Nehi for a kid's Birthday party. Says "What's getting into kids these days" NEHII", and goes on and on. Excellent unused condition. They came from the estate of the famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist.

Unsold old store stock from around 1960. These are unusual and well made. They came from a long closed store that specialized in toys, sewing items, and novelties. They have a little dust and dirt on them, that will wipe clean with a wet rag.

They have a small clip in the back so you could clip them on your shirt. I see a tiger, ape bear, lion and more. Colors vary. These are unused old stock we recently acquired from a warehouse in northeast Ohio. They are in excellent condition.

Vintage 4 1/2" tall header bag with fake butter. Says "Imitation Butter for Party Fun" "A Fun Provoker at the Table". Brightly colored entertaining header pictures of a guy having trouble with the butter. They are from the 1950s. Unsold old store stock in excellent condition. We recently uncovered these in an old warehouse in northern Ohio.

#ZZZ119 - 1880s Boston & Albany Railroad Voucher/Receipt
Vintage 7" wide receipt. Marked "Boston & Albany R. R. Co., Dr." Says it's a voucher for transportation and lists good transported. Also says "All Goods and Merchandise will be at the Risk of the Owners while in the Storehouses of the Company". I have a small stack. All are simllar to the one pictured, and all are dated in the 1880s. They are in used condition, but better than average for their age. (Click the image to see the details). These are very uncommon.

#BEADS0655 - 18mm Cut Crystal Heart Shaped German Glass Pendant - As Low as 40¢
Vintage clear crystal 18mm tall heart shaped pendant with multiple facets. There is a hole in the top for hanging. These are super clear cut or pressed glass crystal (that looks like cut glass) in amazing condition.  Package was marked "Germany" dating them to the 1940s or earlier. We found these at one of our favorite haunts up in the northeast. Any imperfections you see in the picture are dust. These are perfect.

#SIGN170 - Rare Early B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge "Hello Bill" Flag Pin - As low as $1 each

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 2" long paper flag on a 2 1/2" wide metal pin for the B.P.O.E. Elks with the traditional "Hello Bill" greeting. The greeting started in 1897 at the Elks National Reunion in Minneapolis, and these are from around that time period. Back in the day, when a visitor came, they told them to go talk to Brother Billy Goddard which is how it all started. From there it spread to Elk lodges all over the country where it has become a traditional greeting. These early ones are very rare and in great shape for their age.
