#BEADSC0251 - Pair of Large Brass Pat Boone Pendant/Charms

You get both pieces for $2.50. Both are vintage brass. The one piece is diecut into a heart shape and is 1 7/8" tall. On the one side it has Pat's Boone's picture and signature embossed in the brass witha record and a pair of 50s shoes. The reverse says "Always Your Boy" "Pat Boone" which was his trademark saying. The smaller one is about an inch tall and is embossed "Always Your Boy" "Pat Boone" on one side and has a record embossed on the reverse. The brass shows age patina. This was quite the find. They are from the 1950s. They are in excellent unused condition, but show some minor scratches from getting tossed around over the years. Did you know that Pat Boone had 38 top 40 hits mostly in the late 1950s? Elvis is the only artist who charted more hits during that time!

Vintage 1986 4 1/4" tall laminated Van Halen "All Area Access" Backstage Pass from the 5150 Tour. Excellent unused condition. The OTTO Manufacturing mark is on the front and back of the pass.

Eddie Van Halen is widely regarded as a virtuoso guitarist and singers David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar were considered some of the best in the business. On the album "1984", "Jump" hit #1, and "Panama" and "I'll Wait" both went to the top 20. Following that, the released four number 1 albums over the following 11 years. That's quite a feat. Van Halen is the 19th best selling artist in the US of all times. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007. They have won numerous MTV awards, were nominated for four Grammys and won one for "Best Hard Rock Performance" in 1992.

Vintage 4 3/4" wide Adam Ant thin cardboard unlaminated Party Invitation from "The Tour 84". The group would write their hotel and hotel room number on the "invitations" and pass them out to nice looking females in the audience. There is a humorous story online about some guys who accidentally got one of these (the article pictures this exact one with a hotel room and number written on it). Here it is - "Larry Shoemaker reminded me of the story behind this…He and I and Jon Hubbard got these passes at an Adam Ant show and thought we were just going to a big after show party…Turns out it was us 3 guys…and about 50 girls…and we were ‘escorted’ from the room because these were ”passes for chicks only’….” Excellent unused condition. These are uncommon.

Vintage 8 3/4 - 10" tall (depending on which issue) 1940s Opera News magazine. They show some typical aging but are in nice shape. These are uncommon and often go for $5 each and up on Ebay. Some go for a lot more depending on who is on the cover. We have several different ones and don't know one from another. No special requests please. You may get the real high dollar one. Hard to tell. Opera News was founded in 1936 by the Metropolitan Opera Guild with Mrs. John DeWitt (Mary Ellis Peltz) serving as the publication's first editor. It was initially intended to be a "useful, instructive, and factual weekly newspaper of Opera in New York". Its first issue was published on 7 December 1936 and consisted of only one folded broadsheet.
