Price is $1 per bead. Vintage 1/2" long (average) Venetian trading bead. This one has a green base with red, white and yellow stripes. They are circa early 1900s hand made glass beads that are a little crude and irregular in size, but quite beautiful. I got these beads from the curator of an African museum who makes regular buying trips to Africa. They are from broken strands of real necklaces. The ones in this lot are in much above average condition. Use the picture with the dime for reference.

#TY256 - Swiss Warbler Bird Call in Illustrated Envelope
Envelope pictures a bird. Says "The Wonderful Double Throat or Swiss Warbler Bird Call”. ”only original bird call and prairie whistle”. You soaked it in water, placed it in your mouth, and "imitated Birds and Beasts”. The envelope is about 3” wide, and the warbler is a 1+” long piece of cloth and tin. These are an early Taiwan version from the 1960’s. Found at Acme Specialty in northern Ohio. This same toy was distributed in boxes of Cracker Jacks at one time (not marked Cracker Jack).

They are Czech and from the 1950s. Unsold old stock from an old store up in the northeast. Excellent unused condition.

Vintage huge 38mm (1 1/2") diameter slightly domed flat back glass cabachon with two stripes (ignore the glare in the picture, these are amazing). You almost never see glass cabochons this large, and certainly not a tiger eye. This is an unusual find. Box was marked Tiger Eye West Germany. We found these in an old warehouse up in the northeast. Fun image. The picture is set against the original envelope which is included.  From a long closed factory that made them in the 1950s. Includes original envelope. Very colorful. These days it will cost you $5 to buy a new good quality oversize card with the envelope like this. These are a real bargain.

Vintage 14mm (.6") tall faceted foiled pointy back bell shaped rhinestone. These are a very uncommon amethyst color (a little lighter and more purple than the picture). Packages were marked "West Germany", and they are in like new condition from unopened packages. They were made in the 1950s.

#CH326-17 - Fred Astaire and Rita Hayworth You'll Never Get Rich Movie Poster Broadside
Vintage 13" tall paper movie poster/broadside from the 1941 Fred Astaire Rita Hayworth movie "You'll Never get Rich". Says "Join the Army, roaring riot of stars, songs and girls!". These are from the WWII era when the military and girls were the themes of the day. Please click the picture to see a more detailed image. Back in the day, when a new movie was going to play at the local theatre, there would be a guy who would run around town tacking these things on bulletin boards, telephone poles, fence posts, or anyplace else where they might be seen. Because most were outdoors, few have survived. Some will have small edge tears or roughness, but this is true of all paper movie broadsides, and they can easily be trimmed for framing. Although, a few small imperfections kind of adds to the look with these. Colors vary. We got them from the estate of famous dealer and friend Bob Secrist. He found them in the storage area of an old theatre up in Northeast Ohio.

There are wishbones, and horseshoes, and stylized four leaf clovers on them. These are very well made and in excellent unused condition from around 1960. We found these in the remote storage of an old store on the east coast.

These are a delightful purple color with internal white stripes on the inside. Japanese. These were in Cherry Brand packaging which is very high quality. The company only existed from 1946 - 1951, so they are from that time period. Unused perfect condition from original packing.

Nice shape, but all left have some minor edge problems that can be trimmed. Vintage 8" tall pinup. Has "Erbit" signature and says "Lovely Lady". Super colorful. Unused old stock from a printing house. Circa 1940s. These used to be sold by printing houses for use on calendars and also as pinups. Erbit was one of the famous pinup artists of the time.
