##MUSICBQ0171 - 1989 Licensed Skid Row Pinback Button from "Button-Up"

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Marked "Button-up" and "Copyright 1989 Skid Row" around the rim. These are from around the 1989 Makin' a Mess era tour. We uncovered them very recently in an old vending warehouse here locally. These licensed types are very scarce, yet easy to identify by the licensing info on the side of the button. Most of the musical pinbacks that you see for sale on Ebay or other online sites are reproductions. These licensed types retail for much higher prices. Excellent unused condition.

#BEADS0154 - Group of 12 Early Plastic Green and White Beads with a Speckled Pattern and Goldstone Flecks

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You will get 12 for $1.00 (that's about 8¢ each). Vintage hard plastic beads with a beautiful green and white speckled pattern that are 11-12mm in diameter. They also have splotches of goldstone (aventurine). This is an early style of plastic that was made around 1950 or possibly earlier. They look a lot like old aventurine marbles from the 30s.

They are in unused condition, and like most of the others in this find, so far as we can tell, there are no other examples of these to be found anywhere online, or anywhere else period. These were the only plastic beads stashed away with the hippie beads, but are substantially older.

#MSH047 - Pair of Mechanical Mini Ash Tray/Hippie Stash Boxes in Original Boxes - Pictures 1911 Rolls Silver Ghost

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image (the illustrated box and device are both pictured). You get 2 for $5 (that's $2.50 each). These are a real piece of hippie history. Vintage colorful 2 3/8" tall box that says Classic Car and pictures a 1911 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost. The ashtray/stash box device inside has the same image. The device inside has a spring loaded cigarette/joint holder that pops out when you open it. It is a tin box that you could use as an ash tray or for joint storage. "Made in Hong Kong". These were sold as novelties and in head shops all over the country in the late 1960s into the early 1970s when stash boxes were all the rage. We found these at an old novelty distributorship in northern Ohio. Excellent unused condition. There were nine different variations (Cigarettes, Cars, Novelty) that we will be offering in this and future catalogs. They would make a really interesting collection.
