This is one of the Sophisticated Ladies series. Marked "The Gray Litho Co. NY." Illustrated by Knaefel with signature mark.

 These have quite a history. They are unused old stock that was originally uncovered in a San Francisco commercial building. They were donated to a museum that wanted to sell them to raise funds for a monument dedicated to Eleanor Roosevelt, but, the museum owner passed away. Now, they are here. Excellent condition. These are incredibly beautiful.

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 3 3/4" tall 4 page brochure telling the history of the Coca Cola Hutchinson, amber, and paper label bottles. These were made in 1976 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Elizabethtown, KY Coke plant which started in 1901, and are marked as such. It also tells about the special 75th anniversary Coke bottle that they made at Elizabethtown with a paper labels that was an exact replica of the Coca Cola paper label bottle used between 1901 and 1916. It is pictured on the front of the brochure. These came from the Elizabethtown Coke museum when it was shut down and the contents auctioned awhile back. They are very uncommon. I've never seen another one.

Vintage 3 1/2" tall cards sealed in cellophane and unopened.  Back of each card says "Draft Day 1993 Limited Edition of 9,300". I opened one pack and it contained 10 mint cards. There were three Drew Bledsoe (one for the Patriots, one for the Chiefs, and one for the Seahawks), three Rick Minter (one for the Seahawks, and one for the Patriots and one for the 49ers), two Marvin Jones (one Patriots and one Jets), and two Eric Curry (one for the Patriots and one for the Cardinals). They all have Drew Bledsoe on top, so they may all be the same. These unopened sets are super rare. We may have them substantially underpriced. We recently rescued these from an old toy distributorship. Excellent unused condition.

Vintage 6 1/4" wide cardboard sign advertising Blue-Tip Cigars. This was a fan hanger sign. Fan Hangers were tied to the string of store ceiling fans (before air conditioning) and slowly turned from the breeze of the fan, and so fan hanger signs are always two sided. The signs are identical on both sides. They were just found recently in the old factory and are the only examples I know of. All have some typical paint flaking as you can see in the picture if you look close, but you won't find any better anywhere. Circa 1930s.

#CS252 - Full Black and White Ointment Tin in Box with Brochure
Vintage 1 5/8" diameter Black and White Ointment tin with contents in original box. The box also has an advertising brochure in it which you can see if you click the picture. The boxes are in rough condition, but the tins are perfect mint inside. This is the older version of this tin and the brochures have a 1942 printer's mark on them. The boxes are marked 10¢ size on the side. Says they contain mercuric oxide and turpentine. Says it "promptly relieves itching and promotes healing.... is an efficient antiseptic and germicidal dressing and effective antipruritic". As I'm sure you know, this stuff is sold as a collectible and should not be used.
