##MUSICBQ0178 - Sticks of Different Colored Michael Jackson Bubble Gum from 1984
##MUSICBQ0178 - Sticks of Different Colored Michael Jackson Bubble Gum from 1984
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. The colors of the wrappers vary. Vintage 1984 Michael Jackson bubble gum sticks.  These sticks came in counter displays of Michael Jackson Trading Cards.  They are in excellent unused condition.

Michael Jackson is known as the "King of Pop" for good reason. He has sold an incredible 400 million records plus and is one of the very best selling artists of all time. His 1982 album "Thriller" is the best selling album of all time by any artist including the Beatles! He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, not once, but twice! He held 13 Grammy Awards as well as the Grammy Legend Award and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Awards. He has 26 American Music Awards which is more than anyone else including the "Artist of the Century Award". He is also the most downloaded artist of all time. In spite of being tried and acquitted and found not guilty on all counts multiple times, the stigma of being accused of being a sexual predator stayed with him. A lot of people don't realize he was married twice. The first time to Elvis' daughter Lisa Marie Presley and the second time to his long time friend Deboray Jeanne Rowe. They had a couple of kids. The pressure of such stardom was horrendous. He had a doctor administer a paralytic called Deprivan to take away the world at night when he slept till the fatal overdose on June 25th, 2009.

#CS608.1 - MO-KO Malted Milk Display Box - AS IS
#CS608.1 - MO-KO Malted Milk Display Box - AS IS
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 6 1/2" wide (when assembled) cardboard display box that was made to hold cans of MO-KO malted milk. They are circa 1920, and have phenomenal graphics with pictures on 3 sides, the top, and the flap which it says should be tucked in back of the cans (Making a sign) . The pictures speak for themselves. This is one of the nicest looking display boxes from this time period we have ever seen.

They are unused old stock, but the cardboard has age marks, and is brittle. There may be a tear here or there too. When assembling, we advise using clear tape to hold the bottom parts together, so they don't break. Shipped folded flat.

##MUSICGD2001 - Grateful Dead Car Window Tour Sticker/Decal - Skeleton Smoking a Joint under a Mushroom with Rainbow
##MUSICGD2001 - Grateful Dead Car Window Tour Sticker/Decal - Skeleton Smoking a Joint under a Mushroom with Rainbow
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 4 1/2" diameter Grateful Dead sticker/decal. These are high quality art decals that were made for car windows. I peeled the cover off for the picture. They are in mint condition and can still be used. This one is from around the late 1980s and has an artist signature Jeremy. It features a skeleton smoking a joint and hanging onto a giant mushroom with a rainbow, mountains, and sky in the background.

These Grateful Dead stickers/decals are old tour merchandise. I found them wrapped in plastic in boxes in master cases. They came from a distributor who sold them to tour vendors. The condition is pristine and they still will work as a car decal or window/mirror sticker. We found them packed away in storage boxes dated 1992 (many are older than that) and 1995 (year Jerry Garcia died). They are high quality artist renderings of Grateful Dead themes. Back in the day, the Dead did not monitor copyrights and that sort of thing, and in fact, at one point encouraged artists to do designs. The LA times explained it well “The Grateful Dead was famously lax in enforcing it’s intellectual property rights and trademarks, allowing fans to create their own designs using the band’s expansive iconography”. Since there was no serious monitoring or much concern back then, a lot of up and coming artists got involved in designing them. This is how some of them got their starts. Some of the sticker artists who designed these stickers went on to produce official licensed works for the Grateful Dead and other famous groups. These stickers include some by now famous designers including David Opie, and others. These 1995 and older stickers are very hard to find anymore.
