#CC225 - Group of 12 Coca Cola 75th Anniversary Diecut Cardboard Bottle Hangers for Glass Giveaway

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 12 for $6 (that's 50¢ each). Vintage 7 1/2" tall diecut cardboard Coca Cola bottle hanger from the 1976 75th Coca Cola anniversary. Says "Free 75th Anniversary Commemorative Glass" "With Required Purchase of Coca-Cola". It also pictures one of the 75th anniversary commemorative Coke glasses that were being given away. Genuine cardboard Coca Cola bottle hangers for only 50 cents! These are a great deal. We recently bought part of a huge collection of Coke items. These were part of the lot. The fellow that had this stuff is a friend who searched old bottling plants and hauled most of this stuff out many years ago. They are in excellent unused condition.

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 6 5/8" wide sheet with 6" wide advertising decal for Cinci Cream Beer. The stickum still works. They picture "The Handsome Waiter" and a big bottle of Cinci Cream Beer. Back around 1880, Cincinnati was the beer capital of the world. More beer was sold from Cincinnati breweries than anywhere in the world, and it was widely claimed to be the best in the world. In 1882, a company in Canada started making what they called Cincinnati Cream beer to capitalize on the phenomena. They supposedly copied the beer recipe from a Cincinnati company whose name they would not divulge. Apparently it worked as they were in business for a long long time. Around the 1970s, the beer was imported back in the U.S. because of it's popularity in Canada. These are from that time period. Excellent unused condition from the distributor warehouse in Baltimore, MD.
