#CC283 - Group of 4 Coca Cola It's The Real  Thing Logo Auction Buck
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 4 for $1.40 (that's 35¢ each). Vintage 7" wide Coca-Cola "Auction Buck". On the front, they say "Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Inc. of Alexandria, MINN" and has a Coke logo saying "It's the Real Thing" above it. The reverse explains you collect these "Bucks" by turning in bottle caps from any product made at the Alexandria plant. You got 3 auction bucks for one bottle cap, six auction bucks for an empty can, or 9 auction bucks for a Re-Sealable Enclosure. The plant then held a big auction on "May 1st, 1976" (explanation on the back of the bucks) where you could only bid with auction bucks for items such as cases of Coca Cola, cassettes, toy wagons, radios, etc. These are in exceptional condition. These are from a huge collection of Coke items a friend had who searched old bottling plants and hauled this stuff out many years ago.

#BEADS0392 - Hematite Spacer Bead
Vintage 6mm diameter flat disc shaped hematite spacer bead. These are very shiny and in excellent unused condition. We got them from a bead store on the east coast that closed over 30 years ago. A lot of the inventory was older than that. These are likely 1970s and West German.

#BF014 - Group of 10 National Cream Soda Bottle Caps
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. You get 10 for $1.20 (That's 12¢ each). Vintage National Cream Soda plastic lined soda bottle caps. Unused, and in excellent condition. These were found at an old bottling plant in Saginaw, MI. Circa 1970s. This is the nicest looking of the National caps and is great for crafters.

You get 12 for $1.20 (that's 10¢ each). Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. These are early plastic lined caps from around 1970. The front says "Mohr Bros. PIC-UP". The sides say "Mohr Bros. Bottling Company" "Toledo, Ohio". They are in excellent unused condition.

They are marked "Tab Dietary Beverage with Sugar Added" on the front with a silver stamp across it that says "No Cyclamates". The cyclamate ban started in 1969, and the "no cyclamates" mark was used for a few years after that. Excellent unused condition.

#BHSports142 - 1977 Pepsi Glove Disc Carton Insert Featuring Should Have Been Hall of Famer Dave Kingman
Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image of both sides. Vintage MLB (Major League Baseball) cardboard diecut glove with a disc in the center that was a collectible card when punched out. These were found in an old Pepsi soda plant and were inserted into cartons of Pepsi in 1977.  9 1/8" tall. It features Dave Kingman who is the only major leaguer in the history of the game to hit over 400 home runs and get rejected for the Hall of Fame. Most feel like he was slighted. The back features a mail in offer for a Pete Rose T-Shirt and pictures Pete on the T-Shirt. Old plant stock in excellent unused condition.

#SOZ054  - Group of 12 Letterheads for Double Cola, Ski, Jumbo, and Double-Dry

These are unused soda plant stock from the 1970s and picture Double Cola, Diet Double Cola, Ski, Diet Ski, Jumbo, and Double-Dry logos all on one sheet. The plant sold all the brands. Really nice condition.

Click the picture to see a larger more detailed image. Vintage 8" wide colorful Seher's Old Engish Ginger Beer cardboard six bottle carton. They picture an Englishman with a monocle on the side. These are from around the 1950, and are in excellent unused condition. Shipped folded flat. They came from the estate of the late Larry "The Bottleman" Johnson, who was a friend. Larry was a picker his whole life, and he will be missed by the antique community.

The dates vary on these, but they are all from the early 1970s. They have been used and have cancellation marks on them, but are in well preserved condition. These are really cool.

#ZZStock057 - Commonwealth OIl Refining Company, Inc. Stock Certificate
(Click the image to view the full certificate) Vintage 12" wide stock certificate from the "Commonwealth Oil Refining Company, Inc.". These are are dated 1973 or earlier. Commonwealth was organized in 1953. They refined petroleum and produced aromatics and other petrochemicals. They became inactive in 1982 and now functions as a terminal for oil products. Used stock certificate in great condition.

They are are all dated between about 1970 and 1975. Used stock certificate in great condition. They have been providing power in parts of Virginia since 1909 and are still in operation.

This was an early tech company founded in 1931 as an optical company. They evolved into developing and making all sorts of advanced medical equipment. Used stock certificate in great condition.

We got these locally from the basement of an old tavern. Everything down there was 15 to 40 years old, and so these are from somewhere in that time period. Most likely 1970s with this logo. Excellent unused condition.

#BGTransport055 - Chessie System Envelope
Vintage 9 1/2" wide Chessie System (railroad) envelope picturing the Chessie cat. From the 1970s. Great unused condition. These were kept by a local fellow (Norm Smith) who used to work for the railroads in this area. He is now retired. Anytime he would hear about a station that was about to be boarded up he would go treasure hunting. He was nice enough to sell me some of the items that he had collected in quantity over the years.

We found these in a vending company warehouse in the midwest. They were made to go in large vending machine capsules. They are marked "Hong Kong" on the inside lid and are from the 1970s. Excellent unused condition.

##MUSICBQ0004 - 1975 Edgar Winter Poster

Vintage 22" tall licensed poster for Edgar Winter. These were the first glossy licensed paper posters ever produced featuring rock stars. Dream Merchants issued a different one each month for a year. Now, they are nearly impossible to find. The Edgar Winter poster was issued in July, 1975.  The pictures on them are from live concerts in the early 1970s.  Excellent unused condition.  These came from our roadie friend too.  They are very hard to find and priced according to scarcity. In the past, some of these have gone for very high auction prices. Excellent unused condition, and printed on thick high quality paper.

#BEADS0181 - Group of 10 Polished Jade Gemstone Beads
You get 10 for 50¢ (that's 5¢ each). Vintage polished jade gemstone beads (these are the darker green ones at the bottom of the picture). Average size is 5-7mm. These came from a bead store on the east coast that closed over 30 years ago. These are in perfect condition and very shiny and beautiful.
