Metallica was so popular on the underground scene that they finally broke through to the mainstream with a sort of hardcore metal pop sound in the early 1980s. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009 and have won an amazing nine Grammy awards! They had five consecutive albums to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200. A lot of people think Metallica is hard core metal, but you might be surprised at how many songs you know that are Metallica songs. They have sold over 100 million albums. That's not singles, that's albums!

##MUSICBP2035 - John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band OTTO Cloth Backstage Pass from the 1985 "Tough All Over" Tour

Click the picture to see a more detailed image of both sides of the pass. The Beaver Brown Band achieved international success when they did the score for the movie "Eddie & The Cruisers". They album for the movie eventually went triple platinum. They did another song "Voice of Amerca's Sons" which ended up as the featured theme song on the Sylvester Stallone film Cobra, and yet again with "Hearts on Fire" which ended up as the feature song in Rocky IV. They stopped producing new music around 1989, but still tour with a rearranged lineup.
